TANIT Hotel Ristorante Storia del SulcisIglesiente

We were very happy to have found Hotel Ristorante Storia del SulcisIglesiente. Although it felt imposing upon arrival, we came to learn about its existence, value and importance to the community and to those traveling. It is a place that locals frequent and on our second night we were part (almost) of a large wedding being hosted. It was a chance to see Sardinians in joy and celebration with the young couple surrounded by friends and family. We could not help but be drawn in. We dined both nights of our stay in the hotel restaurant and enjoyed delicious food and wine with only a short distance to our room. Breakfast was very good. All the staff, from reception, housekeeping, to the restaurant staff (front and back of house) were excellent. We deeply appreciated our connection with Maxwell, the owner. On the first day I picked up someone else's rubbish which he witnessed and he thanked me for my kindness (gentile). I learned later he was the owner. Simple acts. On the day we left, we were talking and he described his hotel and work. In particular, he pointed to an olive tree not far from the front entry doors. It was planted a number of years ago to honour his brother who had died. It was clear to us that the hotel was his life's work and that of his family, and like the Olive Tree, it was rooted in his community. Thank you Maxwell!

A dir la verità ci è piaciuto tutto, dalle camere, al ristorante, al personale. Per chi fa tappa in moto è un ottimo posto perché hanno a disposizione anche i parcheggi fronte stanza, perfetti per chi desidera tenere sotto controllo la propria moto. Il personale gentilissimo ed efficiente, abbiamo mangiato molto bene ed in tempi abbastanza rapidi. Qualità prezzo perfetto!! Inoltre all interno della struttura ci sono tanti oggetti particolari , sia artigianali che antichi. Bellissimo tutto… ci ritorneremo senza alcun dubbio!!

Personale gentile e professionale ottima prima colazione e abbondante mezza pensione. Camera ampia e ampio bagno.

Qualcuno potrebbe dire che la struttura sarebbe da svecchiare, ma essendo anche un museo a cielo aperto, secondo me va bene così. Nelle camere l'arredamento è un po' datato, ma c'è tutto quello che serve. Lo staff è gentile e disponibile, la camera era pulita, il bagno un po' piccolo, ma una doccia bella grande, e c.que tutto funzionale. Parcheggio interno disponibile. Io ero di passaggio e non ero interessato a qualcosa di moderno e più confortevole, ma sono rimasto soddisfatto e lo consiglio a tutti. Non ho mai avuto e nato al ristorante dell'hotel, ma secondo me si mangia bene. Eventualmente, se ritornerò a Carbonia, alloggeró nuovamente a TANIT o andrò a cenare al suo ristorante.
