Die Gastgeber sind außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es ist sehr ruhig, sicher und sauber. Die Zimmer sind nicht beheizt, worauf man sich besonders im Winter einstellen sollte. Schließlich liegt die Unterkunft auf über 1700 m Höhe, wo die Temperaturen um den Gefrierpunkt liegen können. Zwar werden reichlich Decken angeboten, jedoch war ich sehr froh, noch einen Schlafsack dabei gehabt zu haben. Die heiße Dusche ist unter diesen Bedingungen wie Balsam für die Seele und sicher kein Standard in der Region. Ein herzliches Dankeschön auch an die fleißigen Damen im Hintergrund, die sich um die ausgezeichnete Gastronomie kümmern.

One of the best places I've stayed in Morocco. Perfect location if you're arriving in Imlil by public transport, right in the village. Beautiful building with lots of different terraces. Their food is awesome - I didn't see the point of eating anywhere else and there is, unusually for Imlil, plenty choice for veggies. The family who run the place are lovely - you might get language lessons from their three-year-old if you're lucky! And Mustafa who holds the front-of-house together seemingly single-handedly does so with efficiency and kindness. Just a wonderful place. Maybe I'll come back in the spring and actually go up Toubkal this time.
