Location

Noisy, I had to wear ear plugs at night as I’m a very light sleeper

Perfect location in Coin...literally 20 metres from the main square. During our stay the town had a festival...which was very lively and certainly shows the Spanish can party! Room was nice and comfy.

Online check in was OK...and thankfully the staff allowed us to check in early for an event. There is parking nearby but can be tricky to find a spot when busy.

Excellent location and good value for money

Don't like not being able to talk to a member of staff in person. The automated message service is ridiculous. Only 2 coat hangers in the room they said they would put extra in but never happened.

Good location in centre of Coin and nice old building

We were given the wrong room and so walked in on someone else. Because there are no staff we had to phone someone and admittedly they did find us another room eventually. We couldn’t open the windows so it was hot and stuffy and once again, no staff to ask.

Very central. Lovely courtyard. Bed was super comfortable and everything very clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

There was no blind on one of the windows and there was a man on his terrace who could look straight in. Only one wall light working so was very dark. I had to move the standard lamp to beside the bed to be able to read. The kettle leaked all its water and there were just a few fancy teabags, no coffee.

Everything. The room was super small, dark, old and super dirty. The bed was broken at the arrival. The bedsheets were dirty, there was even a fake eyelash stuck to the cusion on the pillow. I had to put my own towel on the pillow because it was too disgusting to sleep on it. I had to fight with a staff about the broken bed, which they said they cannot do anything about on that same day. They changed the bed next day, but when we were getting ready to go out on a second day, the blow dryer exploded in my friends hand and almost injured her. As a result, we had no electricity in the room at all, including non working air con. We contacted staff immediately but they were super unfriendly, said somone will come check, nobody came, we left the room and then we came back in the late evening, there was still no electricity!! So we packed our bags and left to Malaga in the middle of the night, we couldn’t stay at this place anymore. The worst experience ever

That the bin was not emptied till the fourth day, towels were not changed when they were supposed to be, despite message stating they would be. Water red hot for a couple of days despite promises it would be sorted, no cold flow just red hot. Badly stained cushion was found on bed first night after moving it to go to bed. Next morning I sent photos of it to hotel stating it was disgusting, promised to sort it, but when they finally came to the room on the fourth day they just put it back on the bed. Definitely not line previous visits by myself, son and nieces

Nothing like pictures dirty,no mattress protector,electric sockets hanging out of wall and not working ,lights not working ,mould and dirt around shower ,kettle not working just blows trip all reported before making this review owner message I give you 10 percent off next time you stay. Why would I want to stay in a filthy place again

No reception so they send a message but not until the day of arrival by which time I was up a mountain. Had to phone to get in. Seems to be common in Spain but why can't they send a message the day before given you've already paid for the room. Also required completion of online form which could have been completed weeks before. Much of the info was on the booking.

Central

They didn’t clean the room or changed the towels every second day as promised. We asked for two individual beds and had a confirmation on it but didn’t get it. We had to change to a smaller room as the toilet wouldn’t stop running water. On the registration page it was not possible to select checkin before 16:00 even though when booking it stated 15:00 as earliest checkin. Fridge made a lot of noise

A lovely traditional Spanish hotel with modern touches and comforts and very nice restaurant in courtyard. There’s not much parking opposite. We had to park in the public parking and that involves a lot of steep steps- not great with luggage. The self entry system could be simpler and for us it was very bad that our given room code was incorrect. A very kind waiter tried to help and Let Malaga were helpful when we finally got through to them but you don’t need to be standing outside your room having hassle on arrival. It’s put us off any self check in hotel without reception. In fact we saw another couple finding their key code lock very temperamental. It took them a number of times to open.

Very little. The exception was the adjoining bar , run by others.

There was no hot water in my room. the shower was held in place by elastoplast. the paint was shabby. No body to complain to. Would I go back .Never

Auto check-in was a nightmare. The room smelled like sewer No staff on site Never provided sufficient towels Extremely noisy hotel The room was above a courtyard with staff starting work at 7:45. Could not sleep Just horrible place period.

Rooms are really nice and clean. Big TV, nice lighting.

We struggled checking in automatically. Once you elget over this the actual hotel is very nice.

Nice quiet place to stay, excellent location to visit Coon. Restaurants, bars and shops very close. Lovely square with an ice cream shop, and sometimes festivals and entertainment there.

Clean, in most areas. Great central location. Good size room. Nice courtyard space.

The facility such as the spa room were not pleasant. No reception or direct person to assist you. No kettle in the room, and no topping up of coffee/milk etc. Relied on WhatsApp messages which is no good for me as I don’t have a smart phone so had to rely on other family members for information. No handrail or non slip mat for the shower which is not good for older guests. The landing lights at night didn’t come on so I couldn’t see to use the keypad to enter my room. When the front door was closed there’s a big threshold to climb over when leaving the hotel.

Booked for 3 person. Sheets in sofabed were disgusting when we arrived, with blood or something red. We had to fight like 2 hours for changing the sheets, they said nobody is there so we have to wait till next day for clean sheets. It is just unacceptable. After 2 hours of fighting on phone someone came and changed the sheets. Very very bad customer service. It was just awful and disgusting. Never would go back to this place

Quiet and peaceful, right next to all amenities such as bars and restaurants, and shops. Let all my family and friends know about this lovely find, we have family living in Coin so it is so handy to be so close by.

It was a lovely little hotel, right by the centre of the town but quite too. No noise at all in the hotel which ensured a good sleep. Would definitely use it again when visiting family if availability. A nice little find for visiting Coin. Room had a nice comfortable bed, a fridge, kettle and a microwave.

Nothing really, a bit more basic than I am used to but perfectly adequate.

Wonderful bedroom, in a wonderful palace. Self-checkin without any contact, everything perfect. I decided to come back to this hotel after my first staying at the beginning of my trip, since I found it very cozy and elegant.
