Great views & cozy atmosphere

A magical place - not only because of the views and the gorgeous Casa Loko, but because of the wonderful hosts. Cozy rooms, homemade breakfast every day, super clean and great overall atmosphere. Cathy & Steve will do everything to make your stay as great as possible, giving advice on where to go & eat. Even though it was a little colder in December here, we enjoyed it very much. We felt so welcome and will definitely come back in the future. Thank you so much!

Beautyful house surrounded by beautiful nature

Supergreat place to stay for a week! Cathys and Steves warm hospitality, the breakfast and other meals when needed, great view across the beautiful walley, clean and pretty rooms, nice pool area. Calming and relaxing place near the nature, but close to the city.

The road to the house was so difficult that all taxis wouldn't drive there... but there was a local taxi which drove us safely during the whole visit!

A really excellent location with wonderful hosts

Casa Loka is a property with beautiful views, comfortable bedrooms and really large bathrooms, plus lovely outside space as the house is on several levels. Steve and Cathy were excellent hosts during our stay at the property. The breakfast has main staples of cereal (including home-made granola), bread and yoghurts, plus freshly squeezed juice, but there are different things every day, e.g. different home-made savouries and home-made tarts/sweet pastries. The coffee is excellent and always replenished to your table. Steve and Cathy also gave us very helpful information about where to stay. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Relaxing getaway from hectic city life.

This place is optimal for relaxing holiday away from big cities and crowded tourist areas. However it isn't too far from beaches and city of Málaga, so by car you can easily get to the most of attractions in 30-60min. Cathy and Steve were wonderful hosts, they made sure that we had everything we needed. And were happy to gove recommendations of where to visit and eat. The breakfast had good variety with changing options and home made products. We had dinner couple of times made by Steve, and the food was really amazing. The room was big and beds were really comfortable. We loved our stay there, I would give 6 stars if possible. If we are coming back to Andalucia, we'll definitely stay here again.

Maybe only thing mentioning is the drive to the house, but it's not really that bad, maybe 200m of uneven dirt road, nothing that our small rental car couldn't handle.

cozy and quiet place

We loved the villa, our room was very good, the bed was great and so was the bedroom. Breakfast was also good and different every morning. Pool and its area was also very relaxing.

The accommodation had no major flaws, but there were still some. The biggest thing for us was that there was no fridge in the room.

Like staying with family.

Very remote and calm overlooking the valley, clean, with great communication from the host before and throughout the stay. Very friendly, nice breakfast. We even had a paella night at a reasonable price . Highly recommended.

The only downfall is the road which is like any Spanish village dirt road, narrow, steep, but that’s not the owner fault. You get a good car and it’s fine.

Excellent /Outstanding

Breakfast was excellent, with creative home cooking and abundance. The location is great - quiet and peaceful. Hospitality is excellent. The interior design is wonderful, and high quality, and all items i.e. hair dryer, soaps, towels, etc, are the best quality you can find. Swimming Pool is great. Sun beds and shades are great. I was very blessed by the hosts.

There is nothing not to like or enjoy. The only recommendation for improvement and safety reasons (especially for people in their 60s) is adding some steps with a small handle on the outside of the other side of the swimming pool. Walking on the platform/border of the pool to get to the inside steps inside the pool for people who have vertigo can be a little unbalancing.

Vacaciones con encanto

Nos ha gustado todo, el desayuno muy rico lo preparan Cathy y Steve cada mañana en un entorno muy acogedor y especial. Está cerca del centro Coín, pero si viajas en coche. Si también buscas playa las de Marbella quedan a unos 36 minutos y es precioso bajar la sierra en coche hasta la playa. El alojamiento es muy chulo y al detalle. Nos alojamos una familia de 5 personas.

Parfait !

Le petit déjeuner différent tous les matins, La chambre juste Magnifique avec une terrasse et une superbe vue La piscine très bien entretenu d ailleurs comme tt le reste.. Des hotes hyper agréables, souriants et attentionnés. 1ere fois en maison d hotes et vraiment sans regrets. Belle expérience ! A refaire !

Tout était parfait, l'accueil,la chambre (la qualité du matériel de rénovation),la piscine,le petit déjeuner,la vue exceptionnelle sur la montagne , tout Je suis un habitué de Booking et je n'ai jamais été aussi positif.👍

Geweldig!

De ruime comfortabele kamer met prachtig uitzicht overtrof onze verwachtingen. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, gevarieerd en zeer royaal. De dag zo beginnen is echt een feestje! Alles met liefde verzorgd en gemaakt. Cathy en Steve zijn heel gastvrij en houden van gezelligheid en lekker eten. We hebben een avond mee mogen eten….zalig!

Splendida oasi per visitare l’Andalusia

La casa di Cathy e Steve ha tutti i confort: un patio bellissimo dove fare colazione con vista sulle colline dell’Andalusia, una piscina con aria relax per quando non si vuole arrivare fino al mare e la colazione viene preparata da loro, diversa ogni mattina, con prodotti freschi (succo delle loro arance eccezionale!). Questo b&b è perfetto come punto di appoggio per visitare le città circostanti, vicino a tutto ma lontano dal caos.

Heerlijke dagen gehad. Hadden graag langer gebleven. We komen zeker volgend jaar terug.

Catch en Steve zijn super gastvrij. Ontbijt was heerlijk vers, overal is aan gedacht. We hebben 1 tapas avond meegemaakt was super lekker. Helaas de paella avond niet meegemaakt. Bedden zijn perfect, goede airco. Erg schoon, goede douche.
