A true gem. An old isolated farm (thanks to the owner cleverly buying the surrounding land), renovated with exquisite taste (a rarity in these nouveau-riche times), halfway between a hotel and a bnb, with the bonus of meeting the owner (which helped explain the lack of design faux-pas). We ski almost every weekend every winter, each time staying in a different venue, and this is now in our top 3. Spread the word!
Climate change and our late-march stay meant that what would have been a ski-in / ski -out experience turned into a (4 minutes) drive to the ski lifts. NOT THE OWNER'S FAULT obviously ;)

We had a really lovely stay in Megève and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel. The room was spacious, beautifully presented and very comfortable. The jacuzzi bath and large walk-in shower were fantastic — perfect for relaxing after a day on the slopes.
Nabil, the owner, was incredibly welcoming, and Jean Claude, the manager, was equally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The service felt personal and attentive, which really added to the experience.
There are a couple of practical points worth noting for future guests. While parking is listed as available, access to the hotel can be very challenging in snowy conditions. The driveway is extremely steep and without a 4x4 vehicle with proper snow tyres, it would be very difficult to access if it has been snowing. It’s also quite treacherous to walk — particularly on the way down. That said, Nabil does have a 4x4 and kindly offered lifts to collect and drop guests off when he was available, which was much appreciated.
It’s also worth noting that the hotel’s location can make evening plans a little complicated if you don’t have your own 4x4 vehicle. We were in Megève with friends and needed to meet them in the evenings rather than dine at the hotel. Without a car, and with taxis unable to reach the property due to the access, it required some coordination. We relied on lifts from the owner when possible and needed to ensure we returned early enough for this to be manageable.
The hotel is described as ski-in/ski-out. This is true, but the off-piste section down to the hotel is quite demanding. As a family skiing with our son, we didn’t feel comfortable using that route, so I would say it’s better suited to confident and experienced skiers.
Breakfast is available each morning, though we felt it was quite expensive for what was offered.
