I was happier than my wife as regards the breakfast, although neither of us greatly liked the coffee. The facilities in the room were very good:
My wife didn't think the standard of cleanliness was as good as when we stayed before. Certainly, the stair carpets and surfaces of furniture were dirty.

Andrew, the host was so thoughtful and attentive, he showed us round his beautiful home and encouraged us to enjoy the film room and the beautiful views from the top of the house. The bed was the most comfy I had ever stayed in and the room was very cool, being the basement room, this was much appreciated. We had a fantastic breakfast in the morning too. Such a lovely place.
We wished we had booked more than just one night!

Nice owner, Nice size room, off road parking and great breakfast
I was in a lower ground floor room and was kept awake a lot of the night as could her the people in the room above talking through the night. I was also woken every time they walked across the floor to use the bathroom. I’d suggest using a first floor room
