Hotel AMBiANCE

Great stay, short distance from train station. Very clean, helpful staff. Had everything we needed, plus hot tub and sauna.

The unit has 3 bedrooms and 2 bath, spacious dining and living area. Very clean. Great balcony with Matterhorn view. The kitchen is well stocked. Big dining table for 8.

Not much to mention.

Alain, Stephanie and the team are absolutely perfect hosts. Our room was very clean and the bed is super comfortable. The breakfast is excellent. The outdoor whirlpool was a great addition. The location is great - just outside of the Main Street, so quiet of an evening. We originally booked a one night stay but ended up booking an extra two nights here as we loved it so much. Highly recommend this hotel if visiting Zermatt. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much.

Nice room, comfy bed, top view of the Matterhorn (except from the cranes because of the construction site they only told us about after we booked). Very clean and good location. There was no hotel bar unfortunately, so no cocktails available, but there was a self service fridge with a small selection, which was a little bit overpriced tho. Bring your own wine to have a nice drink on the balcony.

The sauna and whirlpool were only possible to use until 5pm (why??), so we could not make full use of the amenities in the hotel... No hotel bar, but it's very close to other bars/hotels where you can have a drink. View of Matterhorn was nice, but had a tall crane right in front of the building. They did tell us summer is construction season, but only after we've booked. Unfortunately I left a jacket behind in the hotel room, and they did not tell me about it. When I asked a few weeks later they said yes it's here, but started fingerpointing about me making a mistake too when forgetting it, instead of an apology or offering to send it. They then made me pay the postage + 15.- (!) for their effort to bring it to the post office.. All in a very unfriendly manner, and not as you would expect a good friendly hotel to treat their guests, esp. after paying 300.-/night.
