There are plenty of options for breakfast, including gluten-free granola and fresh local eggs that you can boil to your liking. Ladina, the hostess, is very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for places to hike, stroll around, or whatever else you’d like to do.
The room is also very clean, and they clearly put a lot of effort into making guests feel at home. My personal favorite was the handwritten notes from Ladina, along with materials you can read to learn more about the history of the hotel.
The location is also great—close to several spots that are well worth visiting, but not so touristy or hectic that you can’t enjoy the peace and quiet while walking around.
I was generally very happy with my stay. However, if you’re a light sleeper, I’d recommend bringing earplugs, as the church bells ring in the middle of the night and may wake you up.
