Location, price, breakfast & super helpful staff were the best parts of this hotel. It is super close to the heart of the city as well as close to the U station as well as a five minute walk to the river to take a river cruise. Staff was super helpful, and the breakfast was unbelievably great with all types of threads, eggs, cold, cuts, fruit, etc. ALSO - the restaurant attached the hotel was recommended as one of the best restaurants in town so it was super easy to dine in there every night after a long day of touring. Definitely a big plus The one downside is this is a very old building and there is no air air-conditioning, but they were able to provide standing fans. The rooms are very basic with no carpeting on the floor, and the beds are very low to the ground with very hard mattresses. ALSO - the rooms do not have a the rooms do not have a safe to keep your valuables in. Every room is so very different with the layout. While we had a very large walk-in closet. Our bathroom was so tiny and the worst part was our shower required an actual stepstool to get up into it. Very dangerous for elderly people or people who are unsteady on their feet. Be sure to check your bathroom before accepting the room.

Rooms were ok. No air conditioning, no mini fridge. Beds were very low to the ground, shower very small. The location was great. Very convenient. The breakfast was great. Fresh daily. The staff was fantastic.

I was very pleased with the hotel. The location is excellent. Is located at walking distance from all the sites and steps from train and bus station. I was impressed with the variety of foods they offered for breakfast. All was delicious. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Also the restaurant downstairs was great for sitting outside and people watching! Great food too.
