We recently stayed at The Cave in Oia, Santorini, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location couldn’t be better — the suite sits right between two of the famous blue domes, making it one of the most scenic and photogenic places to stay. Having that backdrop right outside our door felt like living inside a postcard. The suite itself was beautifully designed, carved into the cliffside cave for an authentic yet luxurious feel. It was spacious enough for myself, my wife, and our three children, which can be rare in Oia. The mix of comfort and tradition made it truly unique. That said, there are areas for improvement. The bathroom has no real door separating it from the main room, and the lighting is wired so that turning on the mirror lights also turns on the bedroom lights — making it hard for one person to get ready without disturbing others. At this price point, a proper door or adjusted switches would make a big difference. Another issue was the “private area” rope meant to keep tourists out. Despite closing it as instructed, we were twice confronted by professional photographers who claimed they had the right to enter. It would help if management clarified rules to both guests and locals. Also, while the many candles in the bathroom are a nice touch, no lighter was provided. Overall, despite these inconveniences, this was a magical stay. The setting is unbeatable, the views unforgettable, and with a few small adjustments, The Cave could be flawless.

Everything was great here as described in the details. The only thing that bugged me was when tourists were blocking the entrance to the hotel. Besides that, I would definitely come back. Thank you to Anastasia for her help and responsiveness. It wouldn’t have been the same without her helping along the way.

This was the 1st hotel/villa we stayed in of 2 different ones in Santorini. We loved everything about this villa. It is very spacious and has the very best view of Santorini!!! Some minor feedback- It could use more lighting in the restroom area, since it’s a cave, it was kind of dark. Also the jetted outdoor jacuzzi could be more hotter in temperature and longer in duration of the jets instead of automatic shut off every 5 minutes. We will only stay at this villa from now on! Best kept secret villa in the whole town!

The property has unrivaled views and is incredibly cool. However, I would not recommend this property to those with mobility challenges as there is a very challenging set of steps that is very slippery to get to the property. I wish the steps out of the hot tub has some non-slip tread on them, but this is a drool-worthy place to stay. I'd recommend to those who are young and in great shape. Sabi was incredibly helpful with the luggage, and the property was very helpful in arranging transfers. Definitely a 5 star property but not accessible for those who have mobility issues.

This was the ultimate hotel stay in Oia. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. The views were unmatched and left everyone else envious of the view that you had from this hotel room. Booking and checking in was very easy and flexible. When booking this, I read a review that said, "If you ever get a chance to book this hotel, do not hesitate." And I would echo this sentiment. I'm not sure I'll ever get to stay in a hotel this nice again. 10/10 would recommend.

First I was thinking this property was wonderful, beautiful and comfortable place to stay for my highest expectation. The people were welcoming us, the view is amazing. But afterwards, I found out other guest came from 2 floors above broke into my fence and jumped into my private jacuzzi, we encountered into her and told her this is private place and asked her to leave immediately, she left. But next day, she saw us walked out and returned to our jacuzzi again and took selfi (what a bitch!) Some worker worked nearby told her we came back and she sneaked out immediately again! That was the day of our checkout, so we told the manager at the very end, but he told us that we should report to them right away and they can report to the police! come on! What issue point! She left! Is that the hotel’s responsibility to make sure their guests have the uninterrupted stay with the place they paid for?! The suite fence doesn’t have the private sign on! The jacuzzi is outside above the room, should we stay up at the place to keep strangers outside?! They are so unreliable, watch out for this hotel!

This villa is centrally located in one of the most photographed locations in Oia. Waking up to the view was breathtaking! Occasionally you will find groups of people waiting to take pictures of the blue domes near the descent to the villa, but we never had anyone walk down far enough to invade our privacy as there were signs to indicate private property. Our family enjoyed the amenities offered, including the complimentary daily breakfast that was served at a nearby restaurant and our own private jaccuzi. This was truly a unique and memorable stay!

This property is located in the prime center of Oia. It’s so beautiful words can’t explain. Bush greeted us a the drop off and helped us with our luggage down to the cave suite. Excellent service, location and accommodations. Must stay at Cave Oia suites to completer your Santorini experience. Absolutely a 10+

The cave suite was so cool! It’s clean, bright, spacious, new! Although there’s a building blocked the sunset view, the sea view is nice though. The only bad thing is that the hot tub was not working, we couldn’t enjoy the nice view with the jacuzzi.
