I stayed at the Cante Grillet for three days. Its exactly how I expected. What was once a horse farm converted to a guest house/hotel. The room was simple but very clean and spacious. The view from the Cante Grillet is spectacular. Breakfast is served outside overlooking the magnificant valley views. Patricia the host/owner was wonderful. She made us feel like we were home. She speaks very little english but made every effort to communicate using google translate. If youre looking for lots of amenities, this is not the place. If youre looking for an authentic Lacoste experience with lodging and a genuine host, then Cante Grillet is an excellent choice. Patricia also offered for my daughter, who is staying in Lacoste for two months, to contact her if she needs anything. Thats priceless!!
