• Places to See: When you're not skiing, we highly recommend you to visit the incredible Plateau d'Emparis, which offers you breathtaking viewpoints over Les Deux Alpes Glacier. Fancy strolling through a typical village? Mizoen, perched on its own promontory will charm you with its picturesque surrounding hamlets and view over Lac du Chambon. In the summer, enjoy beautiful hikes to Lauvitel Lake or to Lac de la Muzelle.

Apartment was a great size for 5 of us (2 bed plus alcove with bunks). It was clean & well equipped & the reception staff were very friendly & helpful. We loved the swimming pool sauna & steam room - a great addition to our holiday! Location-wise it is at one end of the Deux Alpes strip (less busy end) which was good from a noise perspective. The ski bus stop is right outside (although don’t rely on these…. Especially if you have lessons to get to…They can be a bit dodgy) Belle Etoile chair lift is max 5 min walk away so everything is really close. The only issue we had was not being able to get hold of anyone on the telephone number we had before we arrived & finding ourselves locked out & in a bit of a panic. But a couple of phone calls later someone appeared & it was all good. There is an underground car park €35 for a week - worth knowing the height of your car (2m max I think…) - if you have a van or roof box could be a squeeze.
