About this house rental
Welcome to our beloved lakeside haven on Pasquiset Pond, a place where comfort meets tranquility. Whether you're in search of a peaceful retreat or a cozy spot to reconnect with family, our home offers a warm and inviting escape, perfect for any season. When you're ready to explore, you'll discover beautiful beaches just 10-15 minutes away, along with the unique charm and vibrant local culture that make this area special.
As you step inside, you’ll find a cozy living room with a fireplace, a spacious dining area with a large table overlooking the lake, and a sunroom with a library for both adults and kids. The open layout creates a welcoming space for socializing and relaxing. The comfortable bedrooms are designed to give you some private, alone time, ensuring everyone can unwind.
Step outside to find a netted gazebo, an outdoor firepit, and a sprawling 2-acre yard, perfect for leisurely strolls and outdoor activities. Take advantage of our canoe and three kayaks to explore the picturesque pond, rich with Nordic history. Our peaceful and scenic neighborhood offers a perfect backdrop for your memorable vacation.
This home is located in a family oriented, quiet neighborhood in rural Rhode Island (you will need to drive down a dirt road to get to the property). If you plan to host a party, reunion, or “event”, we ask that you please look at another listing. What we love most about this home is the feeling that you’re in your own quiet corner of the world and would like our guests to respect our neighbor’s quiet corners.
There is a security camera at the front door and one on the left side of the house pointing towards the driveway. There are no other cameras on the property.
Guests enjoy the whole 2 acres property with direct access to the lake including kayaks and canoe (must stay on property), tikki bar dock, gazebo, and green space.
Remote and very quiet neighborhood
Quiet time: 9:30pm-10am
Absolutely no parties, reunions, or “events”. This is a very quiet neighborhood, if disruptive you’ll be asked to leave the property with no refund.
Please be respectful of the surrounding neighborhood/ neighbors
On a similar note, please be respectful of this home by: taking care of the furnishings (ex: using coasters), turning off lights in unoccupied rooms, not slamming doors… basically don’t do things you wouldn’t do in your house.
No smoking. Smoking fee: $500 – Zero tolerance
No overnight guests without previous approval from your host.
CURBSIDE TRASH & RECYCLING PICKUP | Trash & recycling bins are kept at the entrance. Curbside pickup is on Thursday, and guests are expected to ensure that the bins are put out notwithstanding capacity considerations come Wednesday evening.
Late Checkout Fee: $50 Mandatory when unauthorized by host. Very late checkout fee of $150 additional ($200 total) charged if guests do not leave by 12pm.
If you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair.
Cleaning fee will be doubled if the home is found in an excessively dirty condition.
Do not flush any large objects or female hygiene products down the toilet.
Exercise fire safety with outdoor fireplace and BBQ, never leave fires unattended, keep flames away from dry vegetation in yard, fire extinguisher located under kitchen sink.
SUPERVISE CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES ESPECIALLY IN THE BACK YARD AROUND THE LAKE. DROWNING IS A REAL RISK, NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. NEVER SWIM ALONE OR UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS OR ALCOHOL.
Please turn the thermostat down to minimum on heaters in winter before departing.

We came to RI for my son’s college graduation and this was the perfect location. House is decorated beautifully, clean, stocked with everything you could need, and the views of the lake from every bedroom are stunning. The host was very responsive and the communication was great. Would definitely recommend!

We were in RI for a wedding and decided to make it a long weekend with my inlaws and spouses. The house gave us plenty of privacy while allowing us plenty of space to hang out. . Well supplied and beautifully decorated.

Nice property on the lake with great views and plenty of room for our family and dog. Large eat-in kitchen worked well for gathering. Comfy beds! Enjoyed fire pit, fishing on the dock, daily walks with the dog and meeting some nice neighbors. Unfortunately didn’t get to kayak due to weather but sure it would have been amazing. Quiet area with close access to beaches and other areas of interest. Best of both worlds! There was so much more to do that we just didn’t get the chance. We enjoyed our stay!
