About this cottage rental
Charmingly updated two bedroom home has a wonderful open floor plan. The living room is bright and spacious and has a wood burning fireplace and French doors to the backyard. The kitchen has been fully updated with stainless appliances and has a breakfast area for dining, in addition to a separate dining room. The master bedroom has a newly renovated bath and the second bedroom has an updated hall bath. Just 90 minutes from the city and minutes to the town of Sharon.

This cottage was ideally placed in a quiet neighborhood, but within a short driving distance to Lime Rock Park and the village center of Lakeville. The rooms were large, the beds comfortable, well-stocked with essentials (towels, toilet paper, coffee maker filters, etc.), and there was plenty of off street parking. Once the host and I made contact, she responded quickly to my questions.

Lovely house, lovely setting. Comfy beds. Frustrating total lack of wi-fi, TV, and cell coverage. Couldn't find toaster. No bathmat in master bath. Open food in fridge was off-putting. Door did not lock. These disappointments keep us from giving the highest rating for this price. We enjoyed the lovely gardens and the birds very much.
