Excellent apartment with swimming pool and perfectly located near the beach.

This is a lovely apartment in a great location; within walking distance to beaches and the old town. The apartment is larger than we expected and has the amenities for a comfortable stay including a couple balconies for sitting. We would stay here again.

Property was awesome. Very well furnished and kitchen was well stocked. We were there a month and we had cleaning service three times, which was very nice to have. Pool was beautiful with lots of space, plus bathroom right there. Apartment was very large and had two balconies. ok view of the ocean from the front balcony. Comfortable seating. Had an espresso machine that used pods, which was great. We would definitely rent there again. Gina was a wonderful host. Walking distance to the wharf, shops and markets and pickleball.

The apartment is a large two-bedroom with two nice sized terraces. It is about a 15-minute walk from the old part of town. I didn’t do any cooking, but there seemed to be the basics of what you would need. The furnishings are plain, but in good shape. Carlos was available for help if needed. I would make one suggestion: the bed in the master bedroom really needs some kind of thick foam pad on top of the mattress. I am ok with firm, but this had no give at all.

We had to book this place twice because the owner canceled our 1st booking and when we went to re-book that same day there was an increase in price. She should've honored the original price. We ended up booking it again since we had limited options available the time we went. Next, I sent a message to Maria 10 days prior to arrival to no response, then again 4 days prior to our stay and again no response. I finally heard from her on our way to Lagos from Lisbon while I was frantically looking for another place/about to report her to VRBO since I felt like I was being scammed. Luckily, her property manager, Carlos, was good with communication during our visit and I expressed my concerns and issues to him. The apartment was spacious and clean but the beds were really uncomfortable. Location was ideal. The pool and laundry were a plus. Walking distance to Dona Ana beach, Camila beach, ponte de piedade and city center. Two of the best restaurants we had in Portugal were across the street from us. Overall, if the communication was on point I'd rate this place higher.
