The apartment was beautiful and spacious. We were on the 5th floor, looking into large trees and it felt like we were in a park. It was very private. The photos on-line showed it well. Our location in the Polanco "colonial" was perfect. We could easily walk to restaurants and attractions. Ubers were available everywhere. Our host, Maria Rosa, was very responsive from the beginning--she answered questions while we were preparing for the trip and responded immediately during our stay. We felt very safe as there was a security/door man at the entrance of our building 24/7. We highly recommend this property.

When we arrived there was loud music from all sides. I closed a window and it stuck closed when fresh air was needed. The fridge was dirty and I had to clean it before being able to put food in. There were black hairs on my sheets. There are various items in the apartment that are sub standard and do not reflect the photographs. The vanity units are battered and stained and there are holes in the wall where a shelf has been removed and not repaired. A soap dispenser in the shower room is very old, rusty and discolored. While trying to cook a simple meal on the first night it was not possible to open a tin of tomatoes because the tin opener was so cheap it did not work. After trying for 30 minutes my son was also unable to open the tin so I had to send him out to buy a new one. When I addressed my concerns to the property owner/manager I was told that if I was not happy with the quality of utensils or bathroom accessories that I should bring my own or go out and buy them for myself. When I contacted VRBO I was initially offered $80 dollars in compensation and then $100. I wanted to move to a different property but there was no availability in Mexico at that time. We reluctantly remained at the property. The host declined to give any refund for the inconvenience and disappointment in the property. I spent a lot of time sending photographs and descriptions of the problems but VRBO withdrew the offer of $100 compensation. It was a very stressful and disappointing stay.

We had a really nice CDMX vacation at this property. The building and the apartment are clean and well maintained and in a very convenient location. Easy walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and a grocery store. Chapultepec park is close too - we walked there several times. The manager, María Rosa, was very responsive to all our questions and needs - A+. Would definitely return.

Host was very responsive to questions. Space is incredible and came equipped with silverware and pots/pans. the hot water would randomly turn off but just need to turn the switch. Home was clean nice little patio area. towels were small and slightly dirty. Walking distance to shops/restaurants

Location is very convenient, the apartment has nice spacious areas, complementary internet worked very well, good supply of plates, glasses, cups and kitchen utensils and guard staff was polite and helpful; aside from that, stay was not what we expected. The bed sheets were stained, the washer leaked water reason why there were rags on the floor around it, the water heater was off and had to follow instructions on the equipment, towels were small and not good quality, no supply of garbage bags, laundry detergent and many open grocery items such as salt, coffee, sugar, tea and dish soap were open or used, not sure if they belong to previous guest. I suggest owen to look into these details, they would make a difference on their guests experience.

We were 2 families totaling 8 people. The location was excellent with plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, and pharmacies within less than 5 minutes walk. The apartment was very comfortable, stylish, and well-appropriated.
