We had a car, so the location worked well for us. However, the property is located on a steep hillside, which was a bit too much for us. On the positive side, there are cross-country ski trails right behind the house.

We were traveling with small children and woke up early (around 5–6 a.m.) on several mornings due to noise—either neighbors or cars clearing snow. The road was icy, which created a scraping sound right outside the window. We could also hear neighbors’ music and a barking dog. It would be better if the bedrooms were located at the back of the house, as it would reduce the street noise and prevent early wake-ups. Overall, it wasn’t the best place for a family stay, although everything else went smoothly.

Surroundings and comfort were excellent!

The location was amazing and we were so pleased with the amount of space and facitilies. We were on the doorstep of everything we wanted to do whilst still have the privacy to spend quality family time and unwind after our daily adventures. We were always able to find a parking spot and the ease of getting around from this locations was amazing. The sauna and balcony views including a very lucky showing of northern lights made this one of our most memorable family holidays ever.

The beds were definitely a big let down. The size was just fine but the quality of the beds and mattresses left a lot of room for improvement. Our children did ok but my husband and I struggled with waking up sore and not well rested. There were also a couple of light globes that needed to be replaced but this was such a minor thing and possibly just missed when the rooms were made up between guests.
