This beautifully updated and decorated Gulf Beaches vacation home features lots of space to enjoy your Island vacation inside and out! The private swimming pool and awesome screened porch offer perfect spaces to take in Gulf breezes with a refreshing beverage. Almost Heaven's amazing location on the bicycle path is just minutes from the beach, and the best of the Forgotten Coast is within easy reach! Make use of the provided bikes (including several children's bikes) and explore the area.
The exterior of this property offers under-house concrete parking, a pool (heated for a fee), a hot/cold outdoor shower, a fish cleaning area, and a gas grill. Outdoor entertainment spaces include a bar and picnic table with a TV (under the house) and a charming gazebo adjacent to the pool. Horseshoes are supplied for old-fashioned fun. The beautiful screened porch and deck area are great places to gather and have alfresco dining. The golf cart is available for rental for a nominal fee! Exterior stairs lead to the first floor above.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

10 ladies rented the house for a bachlorette party- coming from as close as Crawfordville to as far away as Michigan. We had an absolute flamazing time! The house was perfect for us! From coffee on the front porch to rain day and late nights around the downstairs bar, the beautiful beach, the pool, and sunset golfcart rides! We tried to be on our best behavior- but when you get that many women together for a weekend of freedom, let's just say that we hope we don't owe the neighbors any kind of apology! A weekend we will never forget! It truly was Almost Heaven!

I would love to give this property a 5/5 stars. It is a beautiful home just a short walk/drive to the beach. The swimming pool was old but functional and we enjoyed it daily. The screened front porch was amazing and spent a lot of time there. One bathroom had a small of issue of the shower holding water, not a big deal. The biggest deal and it was a really BIG deal to us was the German roaches that were in the kitchen. On the first day there we noticed a couple of dead ones and thought well maybe the exterminator had been recently. Then the next day (Sunday) while cooking there were a couple on the counter and on the table. I called the next day first thing when office hours opened to report this. Vacasa staff was apologetic and said they would get an exterminator out as soon as possible. The exterminator did show up first thing the next morning and sprayed. He said we would see some dead ones the next day and did but also some live ones as well. The day of departure a big cockroach fell from my son's bathroom ceiling almost landing on him! There was also a big cockroach crawling on the amazing porch that morning. 😒 This is a great house but I think it needs an exterminator on a monthly rotation to keep the bugs under control. As much as I loved the house itself, it's doubtful I would rent this one again due to the bugs.
