We only stayed one night on our way to Florence. The rooms were nice and we had a great view. We did not get to experience the area much but it seems like it would be a great place in the summer.

Spent one night in Anzio hotel on beachfront I’m sure it’s very busy at high season but quiet now. Room fine good shower and WiFi. Small continent breakfast included ok usual fair Anzio town not making enough of its role in WW2 cemeteries not well signposted, could do with museum and other signage

The nicest thing was the sea view from the balcony. The lights did not come on in the hallway until you started to step into them. It was pitch black and I did not like this at all. The room was not a luxury room , as advertised, it was very small and poor bathroom design, and poorly furnished. There was not any tea , coffee etc in the rooms and if you want a cup of coffee after breakfast hours, you had to pay for it. This was not a place that I would recommend to anyone. The area was a bit rundown. We were booked to stay for three nights, but I cut it short to two and did not ask for a reimbursement. We couldn’t stay another day. It was just not comfortable. I would say the hotel was very clean though with friendly staff or we would not have even stayed one night.

This felt like a little piece of heaven. The room was relaxing and perfect. We grabbed food and would come back and listen to the sounds of the sea from the sweet little outdoor sitting area and watch the sun set then go down the street for some gelato. Honeymoon approved!

Right across from the beach and away from the busy restaurants in Anzio. Fantastic beach/ocean views from the balcony.

It is right on the sea and in a quiet area -at least for February. Easy check in and we parked right on the street. Not a lot of dining nearby in February but if we would have walked 3-4 blocks there was more. We were tired from flying that day so opted for a quick bite at a small place on the same block. Hotel room was fine. No complaints. Nice simple breakfast in the morning. Friendly staff

Small town with mostly Italian and local tourists and no extravagances. Lot’s of nice restaurants. Fish and seafood. Family friendly beach across the street with no traffic. “Private beach” charged for umbrella etc. which was not flagged when we booked the rooms. Hotel was fine. Small rooms but great sea view. Family driven it seemed. English ok. Charming and small scale but no luxury clearly. Good breakfast with great coffee. We really appreciated the local and genuine feel of this place and the town.

The hotel overlooks the sea and with our extremely large balcony was a great viewing spot for the local fiesta that took place during our stay. The room was very small, compared to the balcony, with a very tiny bathroom who's mirror was to the side of the wash basin making shaving for my husband interesting! The room was spotlessly clean. I only saw 4 members of reception staff 2 of which were very pleasant and helpful. However, the only female of the 4 was very rude a couple of times during our 6 night stay. The last time was on our departure, we arrived in reception at 10:55 (checkout 11:00) to be told loudly from across the room that we had had nearly an extra half day and wanted to charge us. Thankfully, the young man behind reception took no notice, but the 2 ladies enjoying their coffee got up and left in embarrassment. Overall our stay was fine and would consider staying again, if meeting with family, if the rude person has been released!

Hotel has a great location on the riviera (sea side promenade) several minutes walk from the main town, and across the street from two excellent seafront restaurants. The hotel staff were wonderful and fluent in English. The hotel is in a retro modernist building with a very classic tastefully appointed lobby in the vein of South Beach, Miami. The breakfast was excellent and featured a toaster oven with sandwich presses to make a ham and cheese toastie. My third floor room with sea view terrace was very comfortable with a quality mattress in which to get a good night sleep. Daily housekeeping was excellent. The only downside was that there was no safe in the room or English channels on the TV, though Anzio is not really an English speaking tourist destination. The young man who runs the front desk was extremely kind and helpful and fluent in English, and even gave me a ride to the train station upon departure as I had some difficulty walking on a sore leg. The town was the site of a major Allied WWII campaign whose 75th anniversary will be next year January. There is an American cemetery and museum nearby. A sister resort of Nettuno is also close by.
