About this villa rental
Welcome to Villa Alexa (formerly Villa Mystique), a classic, Mexican villa with updated comforts of modern living. With over 7,000 sqft, this spacious estate is perfect for large groups. Close to the Zona Romantica in a quiet, upscale area, Villa Alexa is ideally located. Complete with stunning ocean views, an amazing sundeck with infinity pool, and a full staff to pamper your every need makes Villa Alexa your perfect vacation oasis in Puerto Vallarta.
Villa Alexa was beautifully designed with classic Mexican architectural details, including vaulted clay tile ceilings, juliet balconies, intricate wrought iron details, colorful stain glass windows and talavera tile throughout. The indoor - outdoor design allows guests to truly enjoy the perfect climate that Puerto Vallarta has to offer. Most of your time will be spent on one of our many spacious terraces either lingering over a leisurely brunch while admiring the incredible ocean and mountain views or sipping margaritas from the infinity pool while watching the sun set over the ocean.
Each of the 9 ocean view bedrooms has a private ensuite bathroom, brand new pillow top mattresses, top of the line linens and individual air conditioning units.
Villa Alexa comes fully staffed so you don't need to lift a finger while enjoying your vacation.
Villa Alexa Staff: work daily 9 am to 7 pm. If you would like them to them to stay later, that can be arranged at an additional cost, please arrange this request with your concierge.
Meal Schedules:
Breakfast is served on or after 9 am
Dinner is served by 7 pm
Late Dinner service is available for an additional fee
Chef & Assistant: Oversees Meal Service for 2 meals plus snacks per day including all shopping, preparation, serving and cleanup.
Housekeeping: Housekeeper responsible for making beds, changing linens and towels, and cleaning bathrooms. Housekeeping service is from 10 am to 3pm. No service after 3 pm. No personal laundry.
Shopping Fees: The staff at the villa will go shopping before and throughout your stay for groceries for meals and whatever additional snacks and beverages you would like to have at the villa. They will present you with the receipts for reimbursement; there is a 10% shopping fee based on the total of the receipts presented from the stores. Reimbursement can be paid in cash (pesos or dollars) or via credit card (which has an additional 3-5% transaction fee based on the credit card company).
Tipping: We hope you are happy with the service; we are often asked for guidelines for gratuities in villas of this type. Tipping is customary in Mexico; however, it is a personal choice & is based on quality of service. The suggested amount is $20 USD per Each Guest per each Night of Stay. The communal tip is to be given to the chef, and he will distribute to the staff evenly.
(Ex: 4 night stay x $20 USD = $80 USD x 12 guests = $960 USD to be given in one envelope to the Chef to distribute $960 USD / 6 staff = $160 USD to each staff member).
Concierge Services:
We also provide full concierge services to every group that stays at the villa. Your concierge is here to help with planning all aspects of your stay, including arranging airport transportation, assisting with arrival meal planning, grocery pre-stocking, booking tours, activities, and spa services.
Guests have access to the common areas of the villa and the bedrooms that they are renting. We use a tiered nightly rate system so that smaller groups who don't need use of all of our bedrooms will pay a discounted rate. We will rent with a minimum of 5 bedrooms. Villa Alexa is a private villa so even if a group does not rent all the bedrooms, no other guests would stay there at the same time. Due to limitations in the VRBO pricing system, they may not present an accurate quote so please refer to the chart below for correct pricing.

The cleanliness of Villa Alexa has always been one of our top priorities, however with the current global situation due to COVID-19, we have updated our cleaning and disinfecting protocols for both the safety and peace of mind of guests and villa employees. Please feel free to ask us for more information on our cleaning protocols.
Other Rules to Keep in Mind:
-- If you're traveling with small children or infants, 5 of the bedrooms open onto the pool deck so parents need to be vigilant at all times.
-- All noise and/or music shall be maintained at reasonable levels during the day to accommodate quiet enjoyment of neighbors and authorities. No excessive noise or amplified music is permitted between the hours of 1am and 8am.
-- For safety and security of the villa, guests and staff , no outside guests are permitted in the villa at any time.
-- We do not rent to bachelor type groups or spring break groups.

This roomy and well-situated villa enjoys a breezy bay overlook and a top class household staff. An easy walk down to the beach or to the zona romantica is always an option but the temptation to linger in the large pool will be tough to overcome.

This Villa was such an amazing experience! The Villa itself is beautiful but the staff make it amazing! Blanca assisted with our our planning needs. The chef, Hector made us the best meals. We went out to dinner and we were all disappointed because it wasn’t Hector’s meals. Chicho was the best, he made sure our glasses were full with his tasty drinks. Naomi kept our rooms clean daily and Claudia assisted with it all! We all can’t stop talking about it! I am already wanting to plan another trip. Thanks to all for making my best friend’s bachelorette party unforgettable. Until we meet again!

Let me get this out in the first sentence in case you don't have the attention span for this entire review - Book a stay here ASAP, this was hands down the best vacation of mine and my friends lives!
Yes, the house was impeccably clean, well appointed, and even more stunning than the photos, however the staff is what took this stay to new heights. Blanca, our concierge ensure we had a swift arrival and seamless stay. She coordinated all of our excursions, booked any reservations, made sure we had all of our requested food and beverage items and even decorated a guests bedroom for a birthday surprise. She was truly a gem and clearly is passionate about giving exceptional service. Then there's Chicho who quite possible fell straight out of heaven. Not only did he make us drinks throughout the day (and there were many) but he helped in planning each meal, coordinated all transportation, and was our right hand man. He also treated us with homemade ceviche with a recipe from his hometown that was 10/10. Most importantly the chef was INCREDIBLE. We didn't even bother eating out after we realized the food he pumped out was 10x better than we could get in town. He made us amazing authentic Mexican food and one of the best steaks I've ever had hands down. Each morning we woke up to a beautiful breakfast spread with coffee and mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ, absolute heaven.
The location of the house is great, a short drive to town with great nightlife and only a 20-30 min drive from the airport. I highly recommend asking your concierge to schedule on site COVID tests, it was affordable and a doctor came to the house, took all tests and we got results the next day. This made traveling back home much easier.
I booked this stay with 10 close friends for a reunion and highly recommend you do the same. Great for families as well! Can't wait to come back!
