We really appreciated our stay here. Full disclosure, despite booking on VRBO this cabin is actually rented through Aunt Bugs. I wish I had booked directly with them, because VRBO didn't communicate my full reservation. I was searching specifically for pet friendly cabins, but when I talked to them, Aunt Bugs did not know I had booked with a dog. Thankfully we were able to get all the extra paperwork squared away quickly without any issues. There was everything inside we needed for the first two days in regards to toilet paper, soap, etc. We packed all the necessities, but it was nice that there was some there to get us started.The main and lower levels are completely separate with two separate entrances. This cabin would be perfect for two families traveling together, or a family with older teens. I have younger kids and they were disappointed that we wouldn't let them sleep in the "game room" separate from us. With how many bears we saw around the cabin though, we weren't comfortable with them being out alone! The cabin next door had a bear break into their car, but we took the precautions very seriously and never left food in our van or outside, so the two bears just sniffed around the deck and porch but never were aggressive or got anything from us, but know when you book here, you are definitely on their turf.Also, the road to and from the cabin is NOT for the faint of heart. Overall it was a great stay, Aunt Bugs had awesome communication, and we had a great trip.

It was cute and quiet. Our only real complaint was how hard the beds were. We hardly slept all week and it made it hard to relax because my back was constantly in pain. But it was nice to be able to share a space big enough for our entire family. I also appreciated all of the utensils, dishes, and cookware that they have. Makes longer stays much easier when you dont have to order food or go out every night you're visiting. I was surprised though, to see how quickly police were able to respond when there was a concern in the area.
