Relais Castelluccio Palusse

Laura was absolutely incredible - a perfect mix of always available and attentative but never imposing. Incredibly patient and kind, especially with our broken Italian. Her English isn't fluent but that made no difference - an absolute joy. The property is very well kept, a lovely traditional Italian feel with an incredible grand staircase - and the perfect soft classical background music to set a luxurious ambience. The pool was perfect, we had it to ourselves all weekend, and one night we had a quiet late night dip and Laura simply came to check we were okay and if we needed anything - hugely grateful! The breakfast was also lovely. We'd reccomend a car to explore the surrounding area, but Citte Della Pieve ins only a 5-10 minute stroll away.

Nothing what so ever

Incredibly unique and beautiful property. We stayed in the turret, and I felt like a princess. Stunning views, comfortable furnishings. Our kid slept on the sofa bed downstairs, and in the evenings we played cards on our private rooftop terrace. Staff were incredible friendly. Pool was great, as were the beautiful gardens. Breakfast delicious. Citta della Pieve down the road was one of our favourite Italian towns. Recommend learning about the history of the castle - it was very interesting!

Both Laura and Benoit were incredibly warm and welcoming! They took great care to ensure everything was perfect for our stay. It was an incredible experience to stay in a beautifully restored castle that is over 150 years old. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and Laura made reservations for us at a wonderful restaurant in the town of Citta Della Pieve (a few minutes away).
