About this house rental
Come see where modern amenities meet Colorado's beauty at a house perfect for the whole family. Backing to national forest and nestled amongst the pines, you will experience a home made for relaxation. The home features a state-of-the-art kitchen, hot tub, high-end mattresses, luxurious bedding, high-speed internet, and two 80 inch flat screens with surround sound. This retreat truly has something for everyone and will rejuvenate you, while making unforgettable memories.

The San Juan Grand Retreat was built in 2017. Thoughtfully designed as a place that has something for every family member and filled with amenities to relax. When you walk out the front door you have immediate access to the San Juan National Forest and Turkey Springs trail system. Less than a mile down the road you will find beautiful Lake Hatcher. If you feel like escaping the forest, you are a short 15-minute drive to the grocery stores, restaurants, downtown Pagosa, and the amazing hot springs. You can also escape for some of the most sought after skiing at Wolfe Creek which is only 33 miles away.
In the actual house you will find a state-of-the-art kitchen with a gas range and newer appliances. The upstairs consists of 3 bedrooms (2 queens and 1 king), 2 full baths, family room, and a washer/dryer. Downstairs you will find 2 bedrooms (2 twins and 1 king), 2 full bathrooms, a kitchenette, large family room, a second washer/dryer, and a game/workout room. Outside you will find a deck on the front of the house, a private hot tub for 8, and beautiful views to admire.
Escape to this mountain retreat and have full access to a spacious ranch home with walk out basement via the new internal staircase. Also, no need to worry about keeping track of keys. This home is equipped with self check-in and check-out processes.
Other things to note:
There is a state of the art radiant heating system that has easy to understand directions in the guest book. In the guest book there are also cooling instructions for the home for the hotter summer months. This property is higher in elevation than Pagosa Springs allowing for cooler temperatures during the summer.

Overall, we had a great stay. There were 7 of us staying here while we explored Co on our motorcycles. A note to motorcycle riders: the road leading to the house is hardpack. The drive way is a short, decline, curved and is gravel/rock so use caution. The check in process was easy, the house was fresh and clean. The host was responsive to some minor issues that popped up and addressed them immediately. If we are in the area again, and need a place this size, we would stay again.

Beautiful and spacious house! Our stay was enjoyed by all. The house is perfect for a large family… very comfortable and memorable. The hiking trails across the road were excellent.

Our family of 9 (7 adults and 2 teens) had an amazing stay in this beautiful cabin. We were comfortable, had plenty of space, and all the creature comforts. Having two kitchen spaces and two sets of washer/dryers was so convenient! Bethany was friendly and responsive when we had questions! We highly recommend this property!

This home is awesome and set up perfectly to host a large group!! We had 3 families traveling together and there were plenty of rooms, bathrooms, and large gathering spaces. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the host was super helpful and quick to respond!! Will definitely book this property next time we’re in Pagosa!!
