The cottage is located within 3 miles of the hospital so it is ideal for people traveling to visit persons in the hospital. Serenity Cottage is approximately 5 miles from down town and 7 miles to Lander University and 10 miles to Piedmont Technical College. Please read the House Manual prior to booking.

The place was very clean, nice and quiet. We enjoyed cooking in the open kitchen and they had everything we needed for our stay. Including a nice bathrobe in each bedroom for guests to use. It rained one day, but the host had plenty of umbrellas for us to use. We tried to get tickets to the Masters (about 1 hour drive) but were unsuccessful. Instead, We played golf at Greenwood Country Club and had dinner at The Carolina Tavern which was great.
