About this house rental
This 3 bedroom, 2 bath mountain chalet is the perfect place for your family vacation. Nestled in the towering pines above Angel Fire, the wall of windows floods the space with natural light and allows you to take in the views of both the 4th fairway of the golf course and the ski slopes! Relax in the living room with its soaring tongue and groove ceilings and beautiful stone fireplace with handmade mantle. You can even enjoy those mountain views from the kitchen, which features granite countertops, an undermount sink and a long breakfast bar that overlooks the living room. There’s also a dining area that opens up to a large deck. Down the hall, there are two guest rooms – one with a full bed and the other with a set of bunk beds. This main level also has a full bathroom with a granite-topped vanity and tub/shower combo. There’s a laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
Upstairs, the master retreat boasts vaulted ceilings and a beautiful ensuite with a corner shower. The loft area is the perfect place to curl up with a book or a glass of wine. You’ll appreciate all of the custom updates in this lovely chalet.
In addition to the comfortable space, this home features high speed fiber optic Internet allowing you to stream your favorite shows and movies on the Roku TV in the living room or keep in touch with the outside world. This would be a great home for a work-from-anywhere getaway.
There’s a two-car garage for your vehicles and/or your bikes and gear.

The view from the cabin is amazing. We enjoyed seeing elk almost every morning and evening right outside the cabin. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well supplied. I would like to have found the cabin cleaner than it was, but I am very picky. There were spider webs behind some doors and on a cabinet door above the stove. The carpet is getting a little dirty and the kitchen floor felt sticky if walking with bare feet. We rewashed most of the dishes before using them. There were dead flies on window ledges. My adult daughter washed the fan above her bed because it was very fuzzy with dust and she has dust allergies. I pulled out the blankets from under the tv to use on the couch but these were dusty. Just a little more attention to cleaning detail and this would be very cozy. We also had difficulty getting up the driveway on arrival. The gravel at the bottom is not packed so we had to make 3 attempts, the last of which involved backing up a distance and making a run for it. The driveway has a significant rut in it from it washing out but we could avoid that. I think once we weren’t as loaded down and we knew to set the car in “snow” drive, as well as making a run for it at the beginning, we were able to get up the drive without a problem in the future. Paving the full drive would help a lot. Otherwise, I can see why some say 4 wheel drive would be best. Games have missing parts, which was disappointing.All in all this was a nice stay with a beautiful view.
