The “Seepferdchen” vacation rental “Seepferdchen” is located in the center of the village of Werdum, a state-recognized climatic health resort and a green oasis of tranquility on the North Sea. Here, you’ll find the peaceful and healthy relaxation you expect from your North Sea vacation.
The climatic health resort of Werdum, in turn, is located near the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel and just as close to the “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea Nature Park,” a “UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site” since 2009.
The “Seepferdchen” vacation apartment is approximately 45 square meters in size and ideal for two people. The apartment is bright and welcoming, comfortably equipped, and furnished in a modern yet cozy style. One special feature, for example, is the furnished loggia—a covered balcony—which you can access directly from the living room and where you can spend many cozy hours.
The “Seepferdchen” vacation rental is located almost in the center of our old village of Werdum, with its beautiful village square and a small local brewery—we’re, after all, just a very small village—and not far away, you’ll pass the “Haus des Gastes” and the Kneipp therapy hall. And just around the corner, so to speak, is the petting zoo—which is especially popular with the little ones—where you can observe and even pet many exotic animals.
Since the health resort of Werdum isn’t very large, life here is quite peaceful and tranquil—truly relaxing. However, there are also plenty of events and activities to enjoy during your vacation. You’ll find yourself right in the middle of country life.

The state-recognized climatic health resort of Werdum, located near the North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel, lies 4 km as the crow flies from the dike and the North Sea—a green oasis in the midst of the East Frisian countryside. Werdum is a small and cozy village that welcomes guests in all seasons, offering above all peace and relaxation a little away from the tourist hustle and bustle of the Siel towns.
It has everything you could need: plenty of events (more than 100 in the summer alone), the “Haus des Gastes” (Visitors’ Center), spa facilities, the “Rasender Kalle” tourist train, guest curling, bike tours with barbecues, covered wagon rides, horseback riding for people with disabilities, restaurants, a coastal brewery, and much more.
Werdum is an old, organically grown village built on mounds, whose history dates back to around the year 1300, and it features historic architecture characteristic of the region, such as the Häuptlingsburg, the Erdholländer windmill from 1748, St. Nicolai Church, and an old-fashioned blacksmith’s shop.
The North Sea spa town of Neuharlingersiel—very close by, perhaps a five-minute drive—is a 300-year-old fishing village with an active fleet of crab cutters. In the beautiful historic fishing harbor, East Frisian fishing is still very much alive today thanks to the many shrimp boats.
