This residential hamlet is situated on a historic site (the former river port of Pont de Vaux with its still-functioning bridge, canal, and lock) within a pleasant, unspoiled rural setting of fields and meadows. It enjoys a privileged location in the heart of the rich Mâconnais-Clunisois region, 15 km from Tournus, 18 km from Mâcon, and 26 km from Cluny, at the gateway to the Bresse region (Ain and Burgundy). Close to the vineyards of the Haut-Mâconnais, the wine route, and the Romanesque churches and chapels circuit. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation, is very spacious, with a large living area and a warm, rustic charm. The charming and tranquil atmosphere of a historic residence.
