THE SPACE
You can relax, you’ve made it to Camp Gold! Grab a drink and settle in to enjoy the amazing views from the wrap around deck as the sun sets or take in the cool mountain air from the hot tub and start stargazing!
Early risers can enjoy a cup of coffee and an awesome sunrise while they catch a glimpse of a wild turkey or an eagle, or maybe even the small family of deer that frequent the east yard.
Welcome to our 5-bedroom/3-bath cabin, authentically built from full logs and purposely created to enable you to enjoy time together while also allowing every guest a private haven.

MAIN FLOOR
The main floor entrance leads you into a cabin-chic living room filled with 2-story picture windows and designer furniture.
The open plan includes an elegant dining table that can seat 10 and a newly remodeled gourmet kitchen with island seating for 5. A suite of new stainless appliances, an intimate café table for two and a dramatic “gold-nugget” backsplash coordinate to create the perfect combination of cabin ambience and designer comfort!
Just outside off the kitchen there’s a gas grill, and then a full-length upper deck filled with Adirondacks and sun!

BEDROOMS AND BATHS

Whether you’ve spent a big day on an ATV exploring the Black Hills, hiking the numerous stunning trails around Lead or just visiting one of the many iconic sights in the area, our premium mattresses and luxury bamboo sheets will ensure you a good night's sleep.

Our home is set up with 2 Queen bedrooms on the main floor, and another Queen bedroom and Bunk room (with a Twin over a Queen) on the lower floor. The 5th bedroom, which is the spacious top floor Loft, has a luxurious King bed.

There are 3 Full baths as well, and plenty of water pressure, assuring everyone has a great shower! Having 4 daughters I really appreciate this aspect!

Note: A Pack ’n Play is available for set up if you are bringing “little ones”.

Downstairs, along with the bedrooms, is huge basement entertainment area with a super comfy sectional perfect for Family Movie Night, and an additional area with its own state of the art game table and arcade game.

Step outside and the party continues with a bubbling hot tub, another huge sectional seating area strung with café lights and the piece de resistance – our custom built star-gazing hammock, for 2 or more!, perfect for snuggling into with some hot chocolate or a glass of wine!

Camp Gold is perfect for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Located just behind Terry Peak Ski area this property is minutes away from 4-season fun and amazing views. You will be minutes away from Terry Peak and ATV, Hiking, Biking, and Horseback riding trails, as well as 2 ATV/Snowmobile rental places that are both within 10 miles.

AND…It’s only 18 minutes to downtown Deadwood - with taxi service available right from the cabin! Rent ATVs or horseback ride for the day. Then Deadwood clubs, casinos and shows by night.

· Mavericks Steak House - Great atmosphere for a date or nice dinner!
· Buffalo Bodega - Families or larger groups. Good food and Fast service.

Why “Camp Gold”? The 1876 discovery of gold in the Northern Hills brought explorers/adventurers of all kinds to this area. The “gold” that brings us to the area now is the memories of time spent with the ones we love. We feel the best way to do this is adventure by day, then Camp Gold by night!



---THINGS TO NOTE---

In order to monitor the coming and going on the property we have security cameras installed outside of the building that view the driveway. These will be on during your stay.

Our “eagle's nest” view also means that our driveway is quite steep, and requires 4WD in snowy/icy conditions!

We recommend considering trip insurance for your stay as our rental policy is firm, and the winter weather here can be unpredictable.
