Peak Rate – May 15th – September 15th $960
Non-peak March 1st - May 14th $660
Winter Rate September 16th – February 28th $660
All major holidays, spring break will be charged at peak rate.
Prickly Pear is a beautiful custom home, built in 2022, located in the Concan Country Club. You will have beautiful Hill Country views. A short drive to the river, House Pasture, Hippie Chicks, and Garner State Park. Let this home make the perfect vacation for you and your family. Sleeping 32 in beds, this 5 bedroom, 5 ½ bath will be perfect for the multi-family Frio River vacation. This home allows you and your guests and family to enjoy sitting inside or outside. Rooms are located inside the home as well as outside around the main living area. Enjoy the firepit and make S'mores with family and friends. Prickly Pear has plenty of outside seating for you and your family to enjoy, whether you are sitting under the patio or around the pool. An open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area offer a comfortable area for you and your guests to gather and relax. Let Prickly Pear be the home to create memories on the Frio.
To help keep the cost of your rental down, we do offer our guests the option to bring their own Linens and Towels. We do offer the option to rent them at an extra cost. If wanting to rent linens and towels for your stay, please allow us 4 weeks prior to arrival notice. Make note that we do have a limited supply and cannot guarantee we will have lines and towels readily available.

What to Bring.
LINENS: Bring linens and towels, pillows and blanket/bedspread are provided.
TOWELS: Bath towels, washcloths, kitchen towels and pool towels.
CHAIRS: Bring folding or sack chairs to take to the river. The chairs at the rental should not be removed from the property.
PAPER GOODS: Paper towels, toilet paper, napkins, paper plates, plastic cups, plastic ware.
SOAP: Dishwashing, laundry and hygiene products
BBQ: There are BBQ cooking utensils, but remember to bring charcoal/lighter/matches.
Your kitchen is complete with dinnerware, silverware, glasses, basic cookware, coffee pot, microwave, pots & pans.
We provide:
• Coffee filters
• Daily garbage pick up service
We do not provide:
• Tall kitchen bags
• Paper towels
• Hand soap
• Shampoo
• Dishwashing liquid/powder
• Salt & pepper

Wonderful time spent at this house. Owners are very quick with communication and house was perfect for our groups. If you are here to drive the twisted sisters, this house provides a low car welcoming driveway and a 2 car garage. I’ve done with trip with a large group the last 6 years and this house is the best house I’ve stayed at yet. Not sure it can be topped as the pool was amazing, tons of beds and great overall experience. Stay here and rest assured your in great hands!

The whole experience was a great from booking our trip to checkout the last day. We had all of our children and grandchildren with us for a total of 17. Each family had their own room to sleep their families as they wished. We could have had another 15 people with us. It was so roomy! The house was a beautiful hill country ranch design and decorated impeccably. Our grandkids loved the pool and hot tub, quite honestly we spent more time there than at the river. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, as well as the grill, smoker and fire pit for s’mores! Plenty of outdoor games provided as well. I can’t say enough about our wonderful time, other than we have already booked for 2026!

We have our annual travel with a group of friends. This was a great place to hang out and watch our favorite sports games. Very roomy lots of space. Couple of minor issues with remotes and smell of water.
