The lodge had all the amenities required and was very clean. The location was superb close to good places to visit but nice and quiet if you want that too.

This was our first time staying in this area and I’m so glad we did! The lodge is beautiful, situated overlooking a wee loch and hills. It was bright, spacious, clean and well equipped. Each bedroom has it’s own en-suite, handy when there are a few of you. The lovely part is the patio doors that lead out to the veranda from both the main bedroom (beautiful view to wake up to!) and the large kitchen/diner, so you have this amazing landscape right in front of you. We spent time watching the swans and their signets, different varieties of ducks and birds, and the deer on the hills beyond (wish I’d remembered to take binoculars, so add to your list if you’re going). The veranda is great for chilling and sitting out with a cuppa or a glass of wine; a time to relax and chill enjoying all the peace and beautiful wildlife.
All in all an amazing place with thoughtfulness for the visitors. The owners even left a few things like dishwasher tablets, foil and kitchen roll (the things of course I forgot to take! I did arrange for a food shop delivery for our arrival, this worked well.
Definitely worth a visit! 😊
