    This is a perfect place to stay in Chiang Rai. I would gladly stay for months! It's our second stay here, (we stayed in January 2023) and will definitely be back on our next visit to Chiang Rai. Baan Nuk Anong is in a quiet area in the narrow streets outside the main city area. It has a few restaurants and cafes near to it and we enjoyed walking the different routes in and out of the centre. The place has lovely outside space to sit and relax in, and provides bananas, bread, coffee, tea., water, etc as well as a microwave. The staff are friendly & helpful and the rooms spacious and clean with a large fridge. Thank you Baan Nuk Anong, see you next time.

    Do not stay at this place if you do not have your own transportation as there is nothing under a 15 min walk. I was there for 4 nights, it was a good value for money but I had some inconveniences: ants in the bathroom, even coming from the shower tube (yuck), bed bugs in my bedroom (building A). The staff gave me another one and told me they did not know about the bugs but the mattress and all were covered with plastic whereas it was not the case in the second room I have got so I am skeptical. Overall it is still a good value for money and it is well furnished but this hotel felt cold and soul-less, I will not come back.
