Just here for the one night after we got married and had a lovely brief stop, massive bedroom and bathroom, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. Top that off with a breakfast the next morning and a short stay but still a memorable one

Stayed as a family, three rooms for two nights. Welcome phone call and email was great as well as when we arrived. Rooms were spacious, clean and modern with great views across the local countryside. Car charging was perfect after such a long journey. Breakfast was great, good choice, good portions and friendly and attentive service. Would easily recommend the manor.

Beautiful location, a little out the way but had everything we needed. We initially had an issue with the pillows and duvet as my husband is allergic to feathers, but we were allocated a different room to resolve this. The staff member on duty for breakfast was super friendly, and the food was delicious. Overall, a perfect weekend break.

What a lovely quiet area with lots of walks but close to towns and villages with things to do and see. The grounds were well looked after and usable by our dog as was a good part of the restaurant. The 2 crowning glories though were: the food which was of a high standard being well cooked and presented and the staff who were really welcoming and friendly throughout, knowlegeable about the food on offer and well paced with the ordering and delivery of the food.

A wonderful stay, albeit only one night, that was everything we were hoping for and more. From the warm welcome to the large comfortable room, it really was fantastic. We ended up staying for dinner (nowhere else local as far as we could see) but we're so glad we did. As a family we have dietary needs (I'm vegetarian and my wife is gluten-intolerant) but they were more than happy to help and accommodate. I had the Sweet Potato Gnocchi (it was a 'special') and it was arguably one of the best meals I've ever had. Absolutely beautiful. If we ever need to stay in the area again, I won't hesitate to book again.

Upon my arrival at the property on 14/01/2025 at approximately 11:30 PM, I faced significant issues accessing the accommodation. The hotel operates a self-check-in system similar to Airbnb after 10:00 PM, which relies on providing guests with access instructions and a key retrieval code. I received a call from the assistant manager at 8:32 PM, advising me that I would soon receive an email with the necessary instructions. However, despite this assurance, I did not receive the access information in a timely manner, leaving me unable to enter the property. I have received an email from your platform sent to me at 4:56 AM with the self-check-in instructions, the hotel emailed your platform at 8:57 PM providing the details. This demonstrates a substantial and unacceptable delay in relaying critical information to me. This situation caused severe inconvenience, distress, and disruption to my travel plans. Being stranded outside the hotel for several hours during a business trip, with a full day of scheduled meetings ahead, was both unprofessional and unacceptable. Given the circumstances, I am requesting the following resolutions: A full refund 2.Compensation for the distress I trust that Hotels.com will address this matter promptly and take steps to ensure such incidents do not recur, safeguarding the experience of future guests. I’m looking forward to your swift response and resolution.

On first impressions, The Manor is a beautiful building in a quaint village that promises peace and tranquillity. The bedroom was charmingly decorated and cosy, the bathroom was oddly oversized, with hanging space hidden at the far end, I’m all for quirky, but not at the expense of practicality. Unfortunately, the loud thrum and vibrations of extractor fans made it unbearable, like I was lodged in the bowels of some industrial machine. The Velux window lacked sound insulation, meaning cars and conversations in the car-park were also loud in the room. The kitchen closing provided relief, but other machinery hummed on, earplugs couldn’t fully block out. As I write this at 10 pm, the noise continues to ruin any chance of an early night, on the second evening, the neighbouring rooms plumbing decided to join the din. To their credit, the pub itself is tastefully decorated, and the food is excellent, unfortunately, this did not offset two nights of poor sleep. Breakfast had good choices ordered from the menu, but no sign of cereal, fruit, or toast, a surprising omission I’m accustomed to as a frequent traveller. In summary, while The Manor looks the part, the lack of soundproofing and the relentless noise make it impossible to recommend for a peaceful stay. It’s a real shame, as there’s potential here, but a good night’s sleep should be non-negotiable.

We booked to stay one night for our anniversary down from the north on the day of the first snow in November! Still our day was delightful, the hotel is based in a picturesque village overlooking open countryside. The view was even more idillic with the covering of snow. Our hostess was very welcoming and very helpful all through our stay. The food was superb, we would have loved to stay longer but we had other commitments. We both thoroughly recommend The Manor at Abberley.

Wonderful! Such a friendly welcome on arrival. Food was a delicious selection and although there’s no cocktail list they readily made whatever we wanted. It’s an idyllic & quintessential place with the original features preserved & a modern touch. The night we stayed was so cold so the log fires in the bar/eating area was lovely and the bedroom was perfect. Everything was so comfy we could’ve happily stayed a lot longer!

Loved our little one night trip last night. Perfect stopping off point to visit Ludlow as it was only 30 minutes away today. The staff were all so lovely, chatty and accommodating and the food was exceptional. The room had everything we needed and we loved being able to sit and drink by the log burner before our delicious food and local real ale. We will be back so that we can enjoy the countryside in better weather. The choice of food was amazing and the quality and quantity impressive. Breakfast was delicious.

Fabulous pub in a beautiful village. Had a lovely walk about before a quick glass of wine. Sophie was a delight to meet and she showed us to our room. She was pleasant and polite. Food was delicious and breakfast was great.

The bedroom was fabulous spacious clean and modern bathroom. If you like walking around the area then it's the perfect place, if looking for nearby facilities then it is limited due to location. Evening meal was good although surprised that they wanted everything to be paid by card and not cash which won't suit everyone.
