About this house rental
3/2 home. Sleeps 8. Master: 1 King. 2nd bedroom: 1 Queen. 3rd bedroom: 1 Queen. Living Room: 1 Full Sofa Sleeper. 2 dogs allowed, $25 per day per dog. MUST BE 25 TO RENT. Renter's ID and Credit Card must be presented at check in or via email. In addition, the electronic rental agreement must be signed prior to check-in.

Beautiful newly remodeled 3-bedroom 2 bath in a quiet residential home on Lake Dunlap (the dam broke in May 2019 so the lake is low but good news, the dam has been repaired and the lake is expected to fill up by Summer 2023, at which point the lake will be more conducive to swimming). Photos taken April of 2022 reflect the water level at that time. Wonderful, covered back patio with comfy seating, private pool, propane grill, 2 kayaks (life jackets not provided) and 2 decks on the docks for your enjoyment. The top deck has a dining table with 8 chairs and a propane fire pit. A great place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or your morning coffee. This home is only 5 miles to downtown New Braunfels, Schlitterbahn and the Comal River! Fenced in back yard for your fur friends! 2 dogs under 40 lbs. allowed. $25 per day per pet.
Unwind in the comfortable living room with Free WIFI and cable TV. The living room has a sofa sleeper for 2 guests. Fully equipped kitchen with all the comforts of home. Dining table with seating for 6. There are 3 bar stools at the kitchen island. The spacious master bedroom has a king bed, cable TV and en suite bathroom with a deep soaking tub and walk in shower. Lovely, covered porch off the master with pool and lake views. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed. 3rd bedroom has a queen bed. Both bedrooms have cable TV. The guest bathroom is conveniently located between the 2 guests’ bedrooms. Washer and dryer available. This house sleeps 8. This property has room for 4 vehicles. Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property.
NO Smoking, NO parties. No trailers, campers or RV's allowed. No portable grills or open flames. Family friendly home with no tolerance for bad behavior. This house has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed. To comply with city and county short-term rental permit restrictions, the outdoor areas of this home are monitored by video camera. This property includes accidental damage protection up to $3000.

Overall the house was great perfect layout. Everything was supplied in the house like it saidThere were a few things you need to know:1. Hall bath sink was clogged filled up with water2. Toilet in master clogged3. The back porch and upper deck need power washing lots of spiders Webbs ect 4. All propane tanks were empty fyi

This is a very nice and generally clean house in a lovely setting. With the pool and waterfront, this is a wonderful family retreat!
With a few tweeks, this is a 5-star rental. However, at this time, for a pricier property, it’s about 3 stars.
2 key issues: First, our guests included a disabled veteran. We let them have the master BR, which appears to be very nice. We checked out the guest rooms and the beds were so-so to bad. The bad bed has a 4” topper and my wife needed help getting in. Then, we found the bed made a loud crunching sound every time we moved. The other bed was a normal height but it too crunched. We woke up every time either of us shifted around. The second issue is distressed furniture. The guest bathroom vanity is an “antique” chest with a sink in it. That’s okay but the top of the chest is down to absorbent bare wood and a swipe with a towel comes up…. well…. not pretty. The dining table has been sandblasted and the cracked surface catches lots of…. um… stuff.
You better believe the managers when they tell you to bring toilet paper, coffee pods, salt and pepper, flour, paper towels, dishwasher pods, soap – basically anything that would be consumed. We’ve rented many houses over the years and this one is the most stripped down.
There were some minor things: No grill brush or BBQ tongs - a plugged guest bathroom sink - a dead bulb (no light) in the laundry. These can be over-looked by a cleaning crew but we had to deal with them.
