NEW in 2022, Chalet Alpenheim 1 is a brand new luxury 4-bedroom holiday apartment centrally located in the family-friendly "car-free" mountain village and ski resort of Wengen. This spacious 1st-floor apartment has wonderful views from its panoramic windows and large southwest-facing balcony.
Chalet Alpenheim is conveniently located about 300 metres (4 - 6 minutes walk) from central Wengen, the train station, supermarkets, shops and restaurants. The route is downhill and down some steps. There is also an alternative route to avoid the steps if required. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen station.
The modern open-plan living and dining space, with a natural wood floor and stylish furnishings, gives this a modern Alpine feel. With windows along two sides of the living area, it offers superb views of the famous Jungfrau mountain and the stunning Lauterbrunnen valley. The views can also be enjoyed from the large southwest-facing balcony, a perfect spot for relaxing or dining alfresco.
The kitchen is well-equipped for “home” cooking and entertaining. It includes an electric induction hob, fan-assisted oven, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is also a wine fridge so you can serve your wine at the perfect temperature!
This spacious apartment has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have king-size double beds (160 x 200 cm). Bedrooms 3 and 4 have two single beds in each room (90 x 200 cm). The single beds can be zipped together to form super-king-size double beds (180 x 200 cm). There are 2 bathrooms with a bathtub and 2 bathrooms with a shower.
There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in the apartment.

Wengen is a "car-free" village with no road access. You can reach Wengen only by train. There is car parking at Lauterbrunnen train station. From there, the train ride to Wengen takes just 11 minutes and is very scenic. You may just want to factor in the journey time if planning day trips away.
