Appartment has all you need and big (Except no toaster. Linnen and towels are extra) main double bed was too soft. Negatives: the patio and sauna looked uninviting(old/dirty) so unfortunaly did not use it. The cottage was not cleaned well which was especially disappointing during corona times (pet cottage). The private beach is messy with dustbins overflowing- it is a steep hill to the beach but there are good stairs. There is no reception and the forest is very dense around all cottages so sun/views are limited. The Matilda town is lovely bigger than we thought.

Kind and helpful service, but the cottage itself was pretty basicband some of the stuff were briker (for example livingroom table/tv table). All in all average snd close to center (under 5mins by car). But you will need a car to go to the center. The beach was super nice, I higly recommend that!

There is a dirt road with pot holes in leading to a village of cottages hidden in the forrest near Mathildedal. This is a quiet place, were you can spend good time with your friends or loved ones. It's located close to the sea with swimming and fishing possibilities. However there is a steep hill with long stairs leading to the sea. The owneres/responsible stayed in a cottage, no signs showing were to go when you arrive. There was no ocean view at all from our cottage, even if the description said limited ocean view. The cottage has everything you need: two bedrooms, one living room combined with fully equiped kitchen (with dishwasher, stove, microwave, cutlery, plats, fridge, freezer), wc, shower, sauna and washing room. There is a porch with a wooden bench and table were you can have your meals outside underneath the roof. You should be aware that since these cottages are located in the forrest, there might be a lot of bugs. You can shop grocery in the town of Salo (about 30 km) or Perniö (about 20 km). If you want a fully equipped cottage in the deep woods, this is the right place to be. I would consider comming back next summer or even in the winter.
