About this house rental
It was a hermit of the fifth century, Montanus, who gave his name to the village of Saint-Montan in the Ardèche. This hermit is said to have found a refuge of peace in a small cave in the small winding gorges of the Val Chaud. The spring that still comes out today at the exit of the village is said to cure fevers... but not from the desire to be curious! So let's make way for dreams!
From the keep to the esplanade of the castle, from San Samonta to Sainte-Marie Madeleine, from the stately homes to the artists' cellars, from the source of the Portalet to the stream of Eylieux, from the mills to the wells of Coquillon, from the remarkable views on the cobbled street corners, from the terraces of the cafés to the small intimate restaurants, getting lost in Saint-Montan remains a privilege accessible to all.
hiking, canoeing, kayaking, the Ardèche gorges and its treasures.... You will be only 3 kms from the Via Rhona for cycling but also for running, walking, in complete tranquility. Nearby the roads of the Ardèche by mountain bike and a parade of all the characteristics of our Ardèche villages. Opposite the Provençal Drôme just as magical!
