Wow what a great location and view from our pool view room.
From our courteous welcome, tour of facilities to breakfast and departure everything was great and it’s clear a tight ship is run.
The minibar is well stocked . Water is available for a fee. Breakfast is more than adequate with a choice of yogurts fruits pastries and cooked items.
Although walkable, in the heat we would recommend using Uber to Franschoek. It is better value than the local taxis.
Relax by the pool, enjoy the Mountain View in the evening. Enjoy a glass of wine!
As a side not , although Expedia may take Amex, the guesthouse does not and you will need to use Visa or MCard

Our stay here was truly perfect in every way. The accommodation was immaculately clean, quiet, and luxurious, yet still felt warm, comfortable, and homey — the ideal balance. Breakfast each morning was exceptional: a beautiful spread of fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, and pastries, with the added option of eggs, French toast, and other accompaniments made to order.
The location was excellent — close to town, very safe, and convenient while still feeling peaceful and private. The host , Lisa - a South African, was absolutely lovely and made us feel genuinely welcomed and special throughout our stay.
This was hands down one of the best places we’ve ever stayed. The two stunning pools and breathtaking views made it even more unforgettable. We would return in a heartbeat and cannot recommend it highly enough.
