The air conditioning in our bedroom broke and there was no one to fix it on that day. It was very hot in Venice so we could not sleep in that room. The water pressure was very bad but I think all Venice may be that way? There were a lot of stairs if you have a hard time climbing stairs.

I recently stayed at this rental apartment and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. It was clear that a lot of care and attention went into both the design and upkeep of the space. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, with great restaurants, shops, and public transport just a short walk away. Despite being so central, the apartment was peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax and feel at home. Every little detail—from the comfortable bed and high-quality linens to the well-equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi—made the stay extra enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free, and enjoyable stay. Easily one of the best rental experiences I've ever had!

We enjoyed the property. It is older furnished, but as advertised. You are immersed in local culture. We enjoyed the rooftop balcony at night. We felt the unit is very authentic and kept very clean. Good a/c.

Convenient location in campo Santa Marina- a small square with a bar/caffe across the street which was great for grabbing a quick breakfast. About 15 min walk to Rialto Bridge and close to most shops, restaurants and pick up spot for gondola. Family of 4 stayed in apt with balcony, master BR, smaller bedroom (both with closets and TV), larger full bath and small half bath. Living room with TV and small kitchen was a nice plus. Owner communicated directions well, but never showed up which was ok I guess. Only complaint is stairs is a bit old and felt unsafe at certain spots. Charming spot but could use a bit sprucing up!

The property is not in very good condition - two window blinds would not open; not enough kitchen utensils for the number of people booked; the shower water often just ran cold - but the really problem is the service from the owner. We were hassled by WhatsApp message for our credit card details in order to get city tax out of us. The owner then charged us, without any warning, almost twice the advertised rate in tax. The owner refused to pick up the phone to talk - the WhatsApp number just went to a voicemail - so all communication was done through text. When I questioned the amount taken from my card for city tax, the owner just blamed Expedia/Hotels.com for advertising the wrong rate. This created a lot of unnecessary anxiety and marred what was meant to be a dream family holiday. The fact that this place is in a good location for the main Venice sights did not make up for the stress caused by the unprofessional hassling leading up to our arrival in the city.

It was horrific I want a refund the apartment was disgusting nothing like the pictures at all in fact some not even of the apartment!! 😡 I cried and moved to a hotel it absolutely stank musty it was filthy we had no bedding we were freezing the heating didn’t work I complained but they didn’t even send us bedding so I had to pay for another hotel as we only had 1 duvet for 4 people - I will send photos and put the most horrific reviews if I don’t get a refund. It took us many hours to find we had been travelling for 26 hours before we got there then I just wanted to leave. It was the worst place I have EVER stayed and you should not advertise this place. Horrific horrific horrific dirty smelly 😷

We were traveling with our two adult children, so one of my priorities was to have three rooms and at least three bathrooms. This apartment seemed to fit the bill - it actually had four bathrooms. However, when we went to shower the morning after arriving, we discovered there was no hot water. When we called the reservation desk, we were told to let the water run for 15 minutes - but my husband, who is pretty handy, explained that the breaker had switched off and wouldn't reset. They did send a repairman and we finally had hot water that night. (The woman we dealt with was very apologetic). Also, one of the bedrooms was tiny - large enough to only fit a twin-sized bed. My six-foot son opted for the sofa bed in the living room instead. We were really looking forward to enjoying the terrace, but we couldn't even find it at first. You have to go up stairs through an unfinished attic (no light at night). My kids dubbed it the creepy attic.

The location of the reception to check in is different from the hotel. Hard to find especially with all the heavy luggages that everyones dragging in a cold rainy day. Although they offer us to leave all luggages for safekeeeping until the check in time but no way that we can bring up to the steep stairways. Very inconvenient for all of us being new to the place and we only given a piece of paper to find the place on our own. Had a struggle to find it and thanks to very nice porter guy who helped us find the place. Of course, we have to pay him. We were told only 2 story but come to find out it is on a 4th floor. With no elevator and no help with all our heavy luggages this ruins our vacation start the 1st day. Probably not advisable if you dont have energy to go up and down the stairs and a short term stay. Not a full service kind a place you are expecting for a hotel.We had an awesome stay! You do not want to miss their wonderful delicious breakfast. Friendly stuffs and always ready to help .

Terrible experience. Famioly of 6 with 3 kids 10-9-6 and Grandpa. Can you imagine arriving late at night and that the door of the building does not opened? We trried to open it for 1 hrs! 3 kids crying and even the neighbours were worried about is. We call several times to Sara (Lady from the San Marco Canal View Apartments) with NO REPLY, not even the day after. We send many messages also, guess... no reply. The only way we could get inside the flat, was that luckily when going out that day we met with an Argentinian family (we are Chileans), and we say Hi!!... They were amazing!!! they were having dinner with the window open, but still they were on the 4th foor, so we have to shout until they listen... So thanks to this family the story had a good end... but we then were afraid of going out, not knowing if we could get inside or not! Because of electrical problem the door was not working, elctrivity went down ar least 4 timesPLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE!! a pitty because it is very well located... It all started bad also... first we confirm a late check in, and then the day before we call several times to advance arrival to 3PM, finally when SARA answered the phone, she just said that we have to wait antil 8PM... no recommendation, no nothing... just WAIT. Finally as Venice is such a nice city we could mannage and left luggage at station, and had a very nice time.In short, you are just a few EUROS for this guys, and will not take care of you!
