Great staff, super helpful and very kind. The room was up to date, with many well placed outlets and a relatively newly remodeled bathroom. We had a very good experience at this hotel. Two suggestions: newer towels and an extra wastebasket.

My husband, son and I had a wonderful time in Monteverde and Historias Lodge was an import part of the reason. The room was super clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable and most importantly, the staff/owners were friendly and so helpful!

What can I say but WOW! This was such a pleasant suprise! As soon as we got there we had instant regret that we didn't book longer here! This hotel almost makes us want to go back one day just to stay here again. The pictures do not do it justice. This is a wonderful spot, so charming, wonderful plants. Can't say enough good things! The host even helped us reserve dinner. What a great place.

The drive up was breathtaking, beautiful views! Our room was great, better than the pictures. Miguel was super nice, inviting and helpful.
