Booking paid in full at the time of booking with Hotels.com. The itinerary number was not recognised by the hotel through their automated check in, so had to call their help desk on arrival. Then we were charged the full room rate again on check in, so have now paid twice for the room. Hotels.com seen to be unable to secure a refund from the property. This is the 2nd booking of a French hotel with Hotels.com that had been a disaster, so I will not be joining any further trips with them.

Self check in facility. I paid for the room well in advance and the self check-in counter did not let me check-in without paying again. We didn’t have any other option since it was late night and had to proceed with paying twice. Room was very small with beds literally filling the whole room and no space at all for the luggage- we are just talking about small bags not big bags.

Room was quite cold when we arrived. I had to switch on the heat pump on my own and it took all evening to get warm. For the rest it was ok, similar to other B&B. Very small shower.

The room is clean and well kept, but the outside is very poorly kept and dirty. It passes a bad impression, as it the whole place were abandon.

This is clearly a hotel geared up to accommodate truck drivers and others that have no other requirement than a bed for the night close to the motorway. Almost no evidence of staff and no one to call on in the event that you have an issue. It was not a pleasant room and smelled of damp.

We really like the B&B format. There duplex rooms are great for families. We only stayed one night but it was good and the location of this one is great for fast food etc.

What atracted us to this hotel was the room layout with the two beds upstairs above the bathroom, however, it was so small, stairs were steep and narrow, very difficult to move around, the walls were thin and we could hear people nextdoor having normal conversation. I guess it's what a budget hotel looks like, but for £10 extra we stayed in absolute luxury compared to this.

The room was very small, but it was clean & the beds were comfortable :) The Wi-Fi was sometimes good and sometimes bad. The room has a good blackout curtain so it’s stays nice and dark, so we both slept well. Also stays cool with air con. Microwave in reception was handy and also the free parking was great. Overall I would recommend and use again.

We got an very good service from the Staaf. After visiting an restaurant in the evening the mail Staaf stand smiling long after closing time and offer us the extra pillov we askt for. Many hugs ans thank you to him.

I think it's a perfect place to stay when you are driving and not needing to worry about parking. Plenty of food places around, Mcdonalds, KFC, Burger King, Steak place La Boucherie etc. However it doesn't have AC and it was quite stuffy in the room. Opening the window was too noisy. No kettle or hair dryer in the room.

I’m not a fan of hotels without receptionists. We arrived at 22:30 and struggled with the gate and computer check in system. The room was ok for the kids but overall cramped and not clean. Blood on the bedding! The booking was cheap so I guess we got what we paid for!

Hotel with almost no facilities. Enough parking spaces though. Self check-in machine was easy to use. Hotel was very simple. Bed was quite hard, but clean. The shower flooded within a minute and the bathroom floor was dirty. It was hot outside and the room has no airconditioning or decent ventilation, so it got quite warm at night.

There had been a special event planned in Lille over this weekend which we knew nothing about as a consequence all hotels in Lille had upped their room prices quite considerably and even though the local Mayor cancelled the event due to the threat of terrorist activity the room prices stayed high! We did not know this and so felt badly treated both by Hotel.com and B&B hotel chain. We did complain at the time but was told there was nothing that could be done. we will check small print and prices in the future.

There was then a problem accepting credit cards in the machine - eventually some-one from hotel came down to sort. There was a queue at this point, and it was frustrating. I would recommend calling hotel before arriving and confirming the check in code- with this I imagine things would be quite smooth. We had ground floor rooms, accessed from outside (motel style). Security seemed good though, as hotel is in a fenced off lot. Shower ok. Bed good. Clean. Happy to recommend this hotel for clean basic stay as stop over, especially looking at the next door reviews for IBIS Budget (terrible) and speaking to someone about the Foxhotel.

i was only after a bed for the night so my expectations were low. The room was very small although it was ok for what I wanted. Luckily when I went to sleep I was drunk and never got under the covers, in the morning we found bugs (small spider/insects) swarming all over the bed!
