This is the 6th time we have stayed at this hotel. It is ideally suited as we travel from Santander ferry to Almeria province and allows us to break the journey.
The hotel is always busy and the cafe restaurant is always packed, mostly with local people but there is a mix of travellers. There is always someone on hand to speak English though my Spanish is just about good enough to check in etc.
I was sure i booked a double room but we had a twin, i was too tired from travelling to bother. However the plug and light switch layout is designed for a double bed, and with twins the switches are above your head...very odd. I was reading and kept switching the lights on and off as i was leaning on that area. In the end i had to move the bed! Someone did not think this through.
So book a double room is the motto there.
Apart from this everything was fine.

The bed is very soft and sounds like it is going to fall apart. There is no wifi, or no one has given us the password. Although we booked in advance, there was no room on arrival as there had been some kind of mistake, and for 10 minutes we thought we would have to find another hotel...at 11pm at night.
