What a great place. First of all the staff, very nice, very professional and responsive. The villas are big, with a comfy bed and with a nice big pool to use. The breakfast has a lot of very tasteful options and can be delivered every morning to your villa. Massage at the villa was also great. There is a number of nice restaurants in the area within walking distance. The only issue was the Wifi, it was slow and need improving.

Location of the Villa is very convenient and centralised. One of the most beautiful Villa in Bali. Staffs were extremely helpful and nice especially Ms Ayu. Was down with Bali Belly and the team really showed their concern and provide us with the best hospitality. Excellent.

The staff are lovely, really accommodating and will help in any way they can. It is a beautiful set up, although could do with a bit of renovation. The outdoor bath is a lovely idea but we didn’t use it because it was too old and dirty. The area is very busy and like most busy areas in Bali, pretty dirty and noisy. This hotel is particularly noisy on a Saturday night when we got no sleep at all. The overall though is if you want a decent hotel with amazing staff and this is the area you want to be in, it is great.

Booked 2 villas (1 3 bedroom and 1 2 bedroom) for 11 of us. Overall, we had a wonderful time. The whole property wasn't too big so everything seems very private. Straight from the welcome, breakfast servings, and housekeeping, the staff were very helpful and polite. The villas were heavenly. The pool, the spacious rooms, the layout of the living rooms. The 3 bedrooms villa had an open living room which was just nice during sunny days like what we had, but I would think that it would be disastrous during the rainy season. The 2 bedrooms villa had a closed living room which was much more ideal for me. There were few things I wasn't a fan of. For instance, there was very minimal number of sockets in the rooms. By this I mean the sockets are used for portable lights in the room, and if those lights are plugged out, the room would be quite dark at night. Also, the "open" bathroom does give a nice feel to it, but sometimes this also mean that the bathroom is prone to bugs coming in. The shower door couldn't close in my room and it was so hard to adjust the shower to get warm water. One unfortunate experience is that we saw a rat in one of the 2 bedroom villa rooms during one of the nights. We were ok because no one was particularly scared of rats, so we chased it off. But I would say this requires more attention from the management to improve maintenance of the property. Overall, had a wonderful stay, and I would come back again when going to Bali in a big group.

Our stay at the santai was wonderful. The Privacy of the villas are great , the staff is dedicated and take responsibility in ensuring the best possible stay for you as a guest. Restaurant provided great service and terrific food. The was a high level of flexibility provided to ensure we had everything as we wanted.

My family, Me, my wife and 2 kids, had stayed the Santai the night before we left Bali. As we had to take the flight very early in the morning, we left the hotel almost midnight. Though it was a very short stay, I was really impressed by the considerate services arrangement of the manager. For instance, he managed to provide us with free dinner because we couldn't get free breakfast which was included for the reservation. Overall, it was really delightful experience for us.

It's a really nice villa for a holiday. The place is comfortable and clean, the service is acceptable though can still be improved of course. The breakfast might need a little more improvement. The shuttle service is really helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay there.

Stayed in a 3 bedroom villa. Was very spacious for our family of 6. Decor and design is wonderfully airy and brings nature into the villa. So occasional lizards and from what I read, a snake in the bathroom, and while we were there, a lemur like animal ran across the pathway in the common area, were great encounters for my kids. The open kitchen was uselful to make snacks and to cook for picky young diners. The breakfast was limited, but adequate. Love the open concept bathrooms. But the management should look into putting in mosquito netting over the beds, as we had mozzy bites despite the foggings and sprays at turndown service. Service is perfect. All staff were sincere, warm and friendly and go out of their way to help, and fullfill our requests. From setting up the PS4 for the kids, providing toys for water play... etc... In particular, Agus from the butler team, helped tremendously with restaurant reservations, transport arrangements and spa arrangements. Gede from the Gong restaurant, provided us with salt&pepper and cooking oil, which we had forgotten to buy. He also ensure that all the groceries that we ordered were prepared and in our villa upon check-in. we would have loved to have in-villa dining on some of the nights, but the meals were a little expensive. Overall , the whole family didn't want to leave at the end of the 6 night stay.

One of the best villa I've stayed in Bali. The service was excellent. Me and my friends got to ride the bike as well and around the villa there are nice fields. Was really happy with the hotel, too bad we only stayed for a night. Would definitely return!

Having travelled widely, The Santai was the most luxurious accomodation I have stayed. From the daily fresh flowers and cookies to the 5 star breakfast no detail was overlooked. The staff were friendly yet respectful and very attentive. They were also kind enough to upgrade us to a larger villa. I highly reccommend a stay at The Santai.

The free airport transfers were excellent. My friends and I arrived on two separate flights and they arranged free two-way transfers for us without any issues. The villa was EXACTLY as depicted in the photos - luxurious, cosy, clean and thoughtful. Although the villa is not that close to Seminyak (15-minute drive), the staff were very helpful in arranging car transport (whenever possible) and taxis. The service throughout our stay was outstanding - they were more than happy to chop up the coconuts we ordered as and when we wanted, housekeeping was thorough, and the staff's friendliness and eagerness to serve was consistent and genuine. Overall, a great stay and an absolute gem for the price.

Luxurious villa and faultless service. Beautifully designed with dreamy walkways. Villa including pool is cleaned every morning. Note its an open toilet/shower concept. We enjoyed ourselves so much lounging by the pool in the daytime, being driven to have our massages at spas and going out for dinner. Seminyaks restaurant scene very pleasantly surprised me. The villas surrounding location was slightly unsightly, so we did not dare venture out on our own with the free bicycles provided. Driver took us wherever we needed to go. However, would still recommend staying at The Santai if youre in Seminyak to enjoy chill-out time with friends in the villa and discovering the vibrant restaurant/lounge scene.
