It is a beautiful design hotel, hardware ( facilities, room decorations, restaurants etc) are up to standard and we did enjoy the decorations and the ambiance of the hotel. Yet software( staff ) wise is in need of huge improvements. This incident happened to us that we had communicated with the hotel before checking in that they would assist with our luggage transfers ( which has always been a complimentary service that they offer to check-in guests ). On the day of our stay, the hotel staff didn’t contact my back then current hotel for the arrangements as promised in writing. We had our current hotel staff to contact them and they replied they won’t help with luggage transfers unless we pay €25 euros per luggage ( we have 4) and that the staff of our current hotel was kind enough to offer to assist us in the end. We as guests of such 5star leading hotel in the world had to carry our luggages and moving our them on the pebble stones and climbing up hill and down hill. On our arrival we checked with the concierge on the reason why they didn’t contact my hotel for the arrangement as promised and the failure to show up to assist. The concierge staff did not apologise but claimed that our current hotel should also provide complimentary check out luggages transfer service. Their response to problems falls below the 5 stars hotels’ standard. Staff in general are quite green and do not seem be familiar with the operation of the hotel. When we were having breakfast, the servant kept taking away our cutlery but not replacing with new ones and when we have done with 4/5 plates of food, they didn’t have the awareness of collecting the used dishes and we had to call them several times for such throughout of 1 hr breakfast time.
