The rooms were HUGE, and staff excellent. Be aware, this old building does not have an elevator. My family friend, 79 years old, had a difficult time with the stairs. It was my fault not catching this, but other than that, The Irish Clock is a gem.
I don't drink alcohol when in TH, but my friend does, so the bar downstairs was great. We ate at the restaurant twice and both times were spot on! I had the fish and chips both times, and couldn't finish my plate.
Internet worked well, air con was flawless, and the room my friend had (with balcony overlooking the street) provided a large work area for his laptop.

Stayed for 3 nights, the rooms were clean, large and comfortable, the staff were good fun and very attentive and the boss [ Freddie ] and his wife were great hosts. the food was great, especially the Lamb shank. the price was right and its in a great position for the smallish nightlife that was available. Would certainly recommend the Irish Clock

A small family run budget hotel in a noisy nightlife area, catering for mainly single English speaking customers who enjoy the nightlife, with good English style food.

Comfortable room to be in. Close to everything; central plaza, bus station, night market etc.
