I had a great stay at GHL Arsenal Hotel. The staff was absolutely wonderful—very friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. They made sure my needs were met and were very responsive whenever I needed assistance.
The housekeeping staff deserves a special mention—they were amazing! They were always kind, helpful, and did an excellent job. Wish I remembered names to give them a shout out!
The location was one of the best parts of this hotel. It was perfectly situated between the Walled City, Getsemaní, and the center of town, making it easy to walk to many of Cartagena’s main attractions. For Bocagrande, I would recommend taking a taxi/uber; I used Uber.
The room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a safe. I never figured out how to use the TV, but I also didn’t ask for assistance because I knew I would barely be in the room.
The breakfast was okay, but I personally would not pay extra for it again. The selection was decent, but it was not what I was expecting.
Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend it to others, especially travelers who plan to spend their days exploring Cartagena. This is not a resort-style hotel, but it is an excellent choice if you want a comfortable place with a fantastic location, great service, and easy access to everything the city has to offer.
