Centrally located about ten minutes' walk from the Historic Centre, this charming hotel is appealing in its design, the rooms are well-sized, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is pretty good. Minuses are that there's no lift and the staff's grasp of English isn't brilliant. However, for the price it's hard to beat.

It is a small and very comfortable hotel with a nice breakfast and staff. Most of the staff speaks only Spanish.
The vicinicity is safe and good for drinking, eating out and enjoying nightlife, but right next to the hotel is a club where sounds are sometimes noisy till 2 am.

Charming, small scale hotel in a historical style, waterfront, within walking distance of the historic town and Getsemani. Nice terraces (3), including one with a jacuzzi.
Excellent, welcoming and capable staff. Well appointed rooms, very clean. Great breakfast on a communal table, to share with other travelers.
I was made to feel at home during my stay (June 18-25) and as a solo female traveler, I felt very safe and well taken care off.
The only down sides are the club next door and the amount of traffic (especially the party buses and party boats in the evening), but a pair of ear plugs takes care of that.
