About this villa rental

The VILLA is very spacious and fully air conditioned, offering great comfort with careful decoration. the kitchen is modern with all the necessary equipment. The sleeping area is very comfortable thanks to its high quality and large bedding (180 x 200). The villa has 4 independent and communicating spaces (ideal for several families) where each room has a bathroom or an individual shower room + wc and an LCD screen + DVD.
A solarium overlooking the swimming pool.
A billiard room is available with a TV corner.
A large terrace overlooking the Heated and secure swimming pool for children, offers a dining area and a relaxation area.
A corner is provided for the Weber gas barbecue, juxtaposing the terrace. A laundry room with washing machine and dryer. An ironing board is provided with the iron. Hair dryer provided.

The VILLA is located in a quiet residential area by the sea between Nice and Antibes, near Nice airport. Ideally located because you can do everything on foot: 800 meters on foot from the beach, the port, shops, restaurants and transport.
The car is not necessary to go shopping on foot (a caddy is available) and transport (train and bus) are close.
Large choice of restaurants, quality local shops, local market and supermarkets.
Two shopping centers close to the villa by transport: CAP 3000 in Saint Laurent du Var and the Polygone Riviera in Cagnes sur Mer: Open-air shopping center with shops, restaurants and cinemas.
Marina of Cros de Cagnes with nautical activity and Hall of fresh fish.
In summer, events are organized on the seaside and the city of Cagnes offers various entertainment for adults and children with free music concerts.
The Cagnes s / mer racecourse with its panoramic restaurant located 2 km from the villa, offers horse racing and various activities.

The location was perfect. It was really easy to walk to the station for trains to Nice, Antibes, Cannes etc. We also walked to Cagnes-sur-Mer. The house is quiet and very well equipped. We used the pool every day.

We had an amazing stay in this wonderful villa! It’s a fantastic property, clean, and very spacious for our family of seven. The pool, garden & terraces are perfect for relaxing & enjoying a BBQ, and, inside, the 4 bedroom/bathroom areas are completely separate giving everyone their own space. The kitchen has all the utensils & crockery you would ever need, even a couple of champagne stoppers, to keep the fizz fresh! There are dining tables both inside and out, and a very comfortable lounge area. We enjoyed a few games of pool in the basement games room and made good use of the utility room. Jean-Luc met us on arrival and gave us a very comprehensive overview of where everything was, how things worked, etc. There is no need to have a car when renting this villa. A shopping trolley is provided for trips to the supermarket and fab boulangerie, a short walk away. The local train station is about 10 minutes walk, with trains every half hour in both directions along the coast. We bought a Lignes Azur train pass for the two weeks we were there which was great value for money. We managed trips to Ventimiglia in Italy and St Tropez in the opposite direction, and everywhere in-between, Eze, Nice, St Paul de Vence & Villefranche being favourites. What a beautiful part of the world the Côte d’Azur is. Restaurants are within walking distance, along the front in Cagne (20 mins walk), and at the Quai in St Laurent du Var (30 mins walk). Great communication with Jean Luc throughout.

The property was immaculate and clean. The living area including the kitchen was great and outside was perfect with the pool and sun lounge area, seating and dining outside. The upstairs room with its own balcony had spectacular views to the sea. Check in was easy and communication with the host was 10/10. The area is quiet if you like that but you can also walk easily to the sea front or the train station where you can go anywhere on the south coast. We went to Nice, Monaco and Antibes as well as the local promenade. I couldn’t recommend this house enough

8 adults used villa for 2 weeks. Villa was spotlessly clean with everything you need for a wonderful visit to cote d’Azur . Villa is 10 min walk from train station that enables day drips up and down the coast. Monte Carlo, Cannes, Villefranche-sur-Mer, eze, St Paul de Vance, Antibes, Beaulieu-sur-Mer, Menton are all “must see” and easily accessible. Ubers are easy too if train doesn’t take your fancy.Pool at Villa has nice jacuzzi feature and like the Villa, is spotlessly clean. Used the Bbq several times which also was excellent. Air conditioning in Villa is highly effective (thank goodness!).Host is very welcoming and always available for any questions etc.Absolutely recommend for families looking for a great week in a luxury villa.

From the moment of contact with Jean luc 5 years ago, I could not wait for myself and family to visit his wonderful Villa in the South of France, the property is perfectly located, you really do not need to hire a car, as its a 10 minute walk to Cros des Cagnes Railway Station where you can take the regional TER train to places like Nice, Antibes, Cannes, Villefranche sur Mer and so on, Jean luc is the perfect host, nothing is too much trouble for him, if you do book this superb property, then you are in safe hands.

we had a beautiful stay in Caynes /s mer. The Villa had ALL the equipment as described in the announcement. In addition it had a perfect pool protection for our 2 kids aged below 2 years. All services ( railway station, bakery, supermarket... ) were in walking distance. for our next stay in the region we will rent this house again.

We had a brilliant stay in this spacious and very well equipped villa. Jean Luc was lovely and showed us around on the day we arrived, providing all essential information and more. We couldn’t have asked for more other than to be allowed to stay another week! The villa was in a great location and we felt relaxed as soon as we arrived. Family of 6 ( 4 adults, 2 young children) stayed here for a week in August. The villa is immaculate, and extremely spacious with a lovely pool area suitable for young children. The villa is in an excellent location, with supermarkets and easy access to the rail network and the beach. We didn’t need to hire a car as everything was in walking distance. We visited Monaco and Nice during the stay and even used uber to go a local water park, all very straightforward. Jean look is a fabulous host, extremely friendly and very helpful. He allowed us to leave our luggage at the villa on the day of check in, whilst the property was cleaned. This was a real bonus for us, especially having young children in our party. We also had a couple of minor breakages during the week due to the young children in our party, which Jean Luc was very understanding about. Overall I can’t thank Jean Luc enough for allowing us to rent his beautiful villa. We all had an amazing holiday and we will certainly be coming back. Thank you!

The property is a large villa with it's own pool and very well stocked with all the items we needed. The Owner met us when we arrived late morning and let us leave our bags for an hour while the cleaners finished up. He then provided the most comprehensive briefing I have had, so that we all felt at home right away. We had 4 adults and a 3 year old, and there was everything we could have asked for, including high chair, cot etc. The house is a bit of a maze, which allowed us to separate and my daughter's family was able to have their own floor. We had some minor breakages which the owner was very decent about. The location is good in a quite residential area, about 10 mins walk from the beach and coast road, which had some terrific restaurants. In August it was very hot and because traffic is often busy we walked everywhere, which was hot. We also took the nearby train to Nice on one occasion and Monte Carlo another - both very straightforward. Overall a terrific week. Thank you!

We first stayed at this villa in 2017 - bar the COVID year, we've been back every year since. Jean Luc is a very friendly and helpful host. Villa is about 12 mins from Nice airport by taxi - we ditched the hire car after year 1 as there's an Intermarche and a great bakery within 5 minutes walk & a nearby train station. Very quiet location. Fabulous air conditioning, pool worked well for our kids and, importantly, very few biting flies! Would highly recommend.

Family of six (4 teenagers) stayed here for a sunny week. Villa was spotless, very spacious, well stocked and excellent location with supermarket, restaurants, and train station all a short walk. Near Nice airport too, so no car hire needed. Lovely pool and outside patio but lovely indoor aircon when it all got a bit too hot out there! Jean Luc met us at check in to give us a tour of the house, but tbh everything was so well labelled that settling into the property was user friendly. BIg thumbs up form all of us.

Fantastic villa with a child-safe pool, and a super friendly, likeable and informative host. There were 8 of us in 3 generations - and everyone enjoyed themselves inside and outside. The pool was great and was good for cooling off and playing (we had 30 degrees every day). As other have written, we basically didn't use the car, as the train is only a 10-minutes’ walk away to Antibes, Nice, VilleFrance, Monaco, etc. In the same distance is a large supermarket with fresh products and a little bakery. To the beach, with a pleasant promenade, is 900 meters. The area feels very safe and is nice and quiet. Jean Luic recommended a delicious restaurant right by the beach for my wife's 60th birthday – a huge success. We have already talked about the fact that it probably cannot be surpassed, and we already have a new booking in mind.

We have just had an amazing stay in Jean Lűcs house in Cagnes sur Mer! He was the perfect host and welcomed us when we arrived, giving us a tour of the house. The house surpassed our expectations, in particular the outside space and pool. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. There was plenty of space and our family group of 7 were very comfortable, with lots of communal space. Jean Lúc was very responsive to any queries or requests we had. We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful, immaculate villa. The owner take great pride and care of this lovely and spacious home. Great location: 10 min walk to the supermarket and bakeries as well as good restaurants and the beach. The pool is heated, which we very much enjoyed as it was not that hot yet end of May. Nice and the airport are a 15 min drive away. The communication with the owner was always kind and swift. We highly recommend a stay.

We were a group of 8 ranging from 8 to 70. Jean Luc met us at the villa to explain how everything worked. The villa was very clean throughout and well equipped. Jean Luc is an accommodating, kind and communicative host. He was helpful and responsive before, during and after the stay. The amazing villa is a short walk from the train station and bus stops so there is no need for a car. It is possible to visit Nice, Monaco, Eze, Cannes, Menton and other places using public transport. There is a supermarket within walking distance. The beach is around a ten-minute walk where restaurants and cafes can be found. The market is worth a visit and also within walking distance. There is a free bus to the old town which is one of the most beautiful medieval towns we have visited. The villa has large bedrooms with plenty of storage space each with a dedicated bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with everything one could possibly need. The heated pool is lovely and much appreciated for cooling off. Our children loved the pool table. Thank you, Jean Luc, for letting us stay at your fantastic villa; we all had an excellent holiday.

Jean-Luc’s villa is ideally situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood but within walking distance of the sea front for all the bars, restaurants and beaches. Also a short walk to the local train station from which we could visit many places along the coast (Nice, Monaco, Cannes, Antibes amongst others). The villa is stunning with a heated pool (cleaned each week) and with a spacious outside dinning area and a separate seating area that could be covered by the electric canopy - outside living at its best! The villa itself was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, was spotless inside and out, plus the air conditioning in every room was a god send for the hot summer nights. From booking through to our arrival and throughout our stay Jean-Luc was the perfect host doing everything to ensure we had an amazing 2 weeks. Thanks Jean-Luc for all the amazing tips of places to visit and restaurants to eat at and for your regular messages to make sure we were ok and for always being available if needed. We felt really looked after!! We would highly recommend this as a place to stay to experience the best the Cote D’Azur can offer.

We came here with our three teenagers and their three friends. The villa is extremely well located and absolutely no need for a car. We visited Monte Carlo, Nice, Eze and Villefranche-Sur-Mer using the train. The Cros-De-Cannes train station is about 7 mins walk from the villa. The nearest supermarket is also only a few minutes walk. The villa is beautifully appointed with everything you need in the kitchen. It is also much larger than the pictures suggest. We had a HUGE amount of space. Jean-Luc, the owner, was extremely helpful and responsive, both before our trip and during it. He couldn’t do enough to help. We will definitely return.

We had a great week at Jean Luc's property in Cagnes sur Mer the first week in July. We were my wife and I, my two children and their spouses, and my granddaughter. Jean Luc met us at the property and explained where everything was and how everything worked. It is obvious he takes great pride in his house -- everything was clean and in great shape. We used almost every appliance in the kitchen, plus the washer/dryer and the grill. All were excellent. Jean Luc was easy to reach by text or voice and was very responsive. The house is spacious and comfortable. There are multiple "communal" areas inside and out, so it is great to share with family or friends. And each couple got our own bedroom with king-sized bed and dedicated bathroom, so there was plenty of privacy if one desired. The air conditioning worked very well -- with units in each bedroom and throughout the house. We enjoyed the pool and the outdoor spaces. The ocean is a 15-minute walk and the town of Cagnes-sur-Mer has cafes, restaurants, patisseries, etc. There is a large supermarket that is even closer (in a slightly different direction). The main train line is ~ 10 minutes walk and will get you everywhere along the Riviera (note that there is a fairly steep set of steps, so we didn't use the train with our granddaughter). We were able to get Ubers when we needed them and thus, spent the week without renting a car. Jean Luc was a super host and his house was a great place for our vacation!

We enjoyed a great week at Villa Marguerite in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The villa had everything that we had hoped for. Its closeness to the railway station and beach front was a big plus as well as the beautiful pool area. Our host was very helpful and accommodating especially since our flight was cancelled at the last minute and we had to arrive/depart at different times. My family had a wonderful holiday here.

We were welcomed by Jean-Luc on arrival (we arrived late morning due to an early flight, but he kindly let us leave our cases at the villa whilst the cleaner was still working). He was very helpful and later gave us a tour of the villa and facilities. It is very nice and self-contained. It is well-appointed with nice bedrooms (one with low beams) and en-suites or close-to bathrooms/showers, etc. The wifi worked well for us. The large fridge is excellent and has a very useful ice maker and filtered cool water supply built-in, which we used a lot. The outdoors area is really nice and the heated pool was great for cooling off and relaxing (with a lilo and some floats). Our only slight criticism of cleanliness was the outside tables which we cleaned ourselves (they had appeared clean visibly, but on wiping them there was an obvious film of dust/dirt). I wonder if the cleaner had felt a bit pressurised to finish quickly when we arrived early, so a minor issue really. There is excellent security with electric blinds, electric gate. Air conditioning in the various living spaces was great. There is a small safe too. There weren't any books/games at the villa, but we had brought some games ourselves anyway. All in all a great villa holiday in a lovely area. Lots of amenities at the coast and the town/castle/Renoir museum well worth a visit. Good rail connections too. Thank you, Jean-Luc - we would definitely come again!

We were a group of 8 friends (4 couples), who used the Villa to explore the local area via walking or the rental bikes. We also visited Monaco, Antibes and Nice by train. We all gave the Villa a thumbs up, the only issue is that it is in a quiet residential area, so we had to move inside the Villa from the pool/outdoor seating area at 10pm to prevent upsetting the neighbours. The Villa is in a very good location within 10-15 mins walk of Cagnes Del Mer beach (with restaurants/Bars) and supermarkets. And 15 mins taxi from Nice Airport. Jean allowed us to check in early as we landed at 1pm.

Our family spent a wonderful week in this superb villa in July 22. Everything was to a very high standard. Jean-Luc gave us a warm welcome to his beautiful home and demonstrated clearly how everything worked. There is also a very handy manual with helpful information which we could refer to. Each room is spotlessly clean, fresh, comfortable and spacious. The villa has air conditioning throughout. We were able to enjoy family time in the large open plan lounge/dining/kitchen as well as in the stunning pool/garden/patio area. We also had lots of quiet space and privacy in the bedrooms which are more like suites, with sitting areas, separate bathrooms and some with direct access to their own outdoor areas. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to cook for 8. The large fridge, wine store and freezer with chilled water and ice machine were greatly appreciated. The washing machine and drying racks were also very handy. The house is very well situated in a pleasant neighbourhood, close to the beach, shops, restaurants and lots of places to interest all ages. A walk to Haut-Cagnes to explore the chateau, followed by a visit to the Renoir museum is highly recommended. The train station is an easy 7 minute walk from the villa and we made good use of this to visit Monaco, Antibes, Juan les Pins, Eze and Grasse. We also enjoyed local walks to paddle board/jet ski and the electric scooters were a big hit with my teenage grandson. You can hire these from the beach area and return them near the villa. There is so much to see and do in the local area. We were spoiled for choice with lots of cafes, restaurants and bars to appeal to all tastes. We will definitely be returning to this beautiful villa and would highly recommend Jean-Luc as an excellent host.

The villa is as described, spacious with a pool heated to a perfect temperature. The house was well equipped, everything was in good order and relatively new. The location we found to be excellent, particularly using the train for travelling into Nice and in either direction along the coast with day trips to Cannes and Monaco. There is a supermarket and restaurants on the coast all very near. The owner was a pleasure to deal with, friendly and considerate. When our booked taxi failed to arrive on the day of our departure Jean-Luc helped us out with an alternative. No hesitation in recommending this villa for your holiday.

We booked this villa as a last minute trip. We have stayed in the South of France before but never Cagnes Sur Mer. Super lovely property - very large. Friendly neighbourHood. Pool was perfect for those super hot days. Very close to restaurants and supermarket. We loved the bakery that is next to the local supermarket, the fresh bread is gorgeous! We tried several restaurants along the beach front- highly recommended Bistro ale Pointu ( I think that’s the name) and Cararocca. Jean-Luc was so attentive and was on hand if we needed help with anything. Not that we did, everything was pretty easy to work! Thank you for a wonderful stay! 😊

We stayed at the villa for 2 weeks with our two teenage daughters and their friends. Everything was as described, villa was super clean, well equipped with everything you need available. The lovely owner accommodated an early handover, clearly explaining the property and was always available to assist. Super location, 10-15 mins walk to beach, restaurants, train station, well stocked supermarket and super bakery. We have had a wonderful holiday here. The villa is gorgeous and the photographs indeed do not do it justice . It is absolutely immaculate , very spacious , beautifully furnished and decorated and exceptionally well equipped . Everything you need is catered for and Jean Luc could not do enough for us - a great host . The location is spot on - everything in walking distance and very easy to get the train to explore the entire region . Our only disappointment was having to leave ! A fantastic villa that has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We get a taxi from Nice airport (c15 mins) as there;s no need for a hire car. Supermarket and boulangerie are within easy walking distance. Train station will take you to Nice, Monaco, etc if you want to travel further afield. Kids spend most of their time in the pool. Air con is super effective and keep the mossies away. Some British tv - no Sky, wifi is good. Jean Luc is very friendly and helpful. He speaks good English. Highly recommend.

The house was great. We had a small baby and Jean Luc fixed all we needed. The pool was not cleaned regularly during the stay but we just asked JL and he came and cleaned it a few minutes later (only needed once) Very helpful host! The area was nice; close to Nice and Antibes. We used both car and train. It was close to the beach in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The supermarket closed rather early (at 7 or 8) and did not open until 8.30. Good to know! All in all, we had a great stay and would happily go back!

We were staying as a group of 8, the villa is beautiful and is so much bigger than it looks from the outside, we all had our own space and it never felt cramped! Jean Luc welcomed us when we arrived and showed us everything inside and outside the villa, the location is very good it is in a lovely quiet area but only 15 minutes walk to the main town and pebble beach and only 10 minute walk to the train station.
