Great location.great hotel great staff

What a sensational location! There is a ferry stop at the property ( one of, if not the only one on Lake Lucerne) and an amazing outdoor area to relax with a few drinks overlooking the lake. We walked left from the hotel and found a lovely little outdoor pop up bar near a little freshwater beach on the lake, which enhanced our stay.

Loved this hotel

We loved this hotel. The grounds, view across the lake, and the food were all excellent. Free bus travel to the centre of Luzern worked well, and you could return by bus or the afternoon Ihr lake cruise would drop you off. If we were in the area again, we would definitely stay again.

The outdoor pool did not look very inviting. The water looked as if it could do with a clean or a refresh.

Great location; amazing views; great food. Nice pool with bar close by. Private access to the lake. Not very crowded with people. Excellent buffet breakfast.

Staff in the restaurant seemed a bit clueless at times. Long wait for checkout as there was a very long conversation going on with one guest.

A wonderful slice of Switzerland!

Stunning views & wonderful staff! The hotel was clean and modern with everything you need at your fingertips. Having the bus that takes you into the heart of Lucerne right out the front was so convenient and having the ferry stop at the hotel was also an excellent addition. You cannot beat the incredible views that Switzerland has to offer right in front of you. All of the staff we encountered were so kind, welcoming and helpful! We could not recommend this wonderful hotel more.

The only downside we had was that we had multiple mosquitos flying around our room on night two. However, this was our own fault for having the door open for some fresh air all night on our first night. Staff were accomodating as soon as we told them and they provided us with a couple of mosquito repellents for the room.

Major revenvation needed to meet 2025 visitors expectation,

Location is the most interesting thing about the hotel

The hotel need major renovation in all aspects starting from the swimming pool and the amenity rooms all the way to the rooms and AC must added, the summer can’t be managed without AC now even in Swiss , we couldn’t sleep all the nights. Unfortunately, I can’t tell my stay were comfortable .

Highlight of our trip around Switzerland

I loved the location, the views. I loved the spa area, where water, tea and fruit is made available. The weather helped for our couple of days by the pool and we had an amazing time. Food was amazing.

Service at dinner service. It wasn’t great and there seemed to be tension between staff members. Food was fantastic, but really rich and it was warm in the terrace. We were keen to pay up and head inside, but it took us going up and asking to pay for us to be able to pay and leave. The staff were lovely otherwise.

Look for another hotel!

The view and reception desk was friendly.

This is a 2 star hotel at best and priced at a 4 star rate. This was by far the worst hotel we stayed at on our trip and a poor representation of the hotels in Switzerland. Hot tub was broken and the spa/pool hours are so limited that it is unusable to most guests. Very poor dining experience: bad service and mediocre food. Poor exterior and inteior with dirty carpet throughout. The hotel needs a complete overhaul. Tldr: Keep looking if you are set on staying in this area.

Beautiful view but too pricy

The hotel is sitting right on the lake front and has a gorgeous view. We have lunch at the hotel, the food was great but pretty expensive. The hotel room is kind of tiny as well. The location is kind of far from the train station. We have to take a 20mins bus ride from the train station to the hotel. But u get the drop dead gorgeous view because of the location. But there is no shops around, only the hotel facilities.

No air condition. It was hot in the room and we have to open the window to sleep but the bug came in. With the money that we paid, I feel like the hotel can do more even the air condition wasn’t build in. But I find out a lot of hotels in Switzerland has no air condition except by the airport.

Stunning views

From check in, the staff were fantastic, very accommodating, knowledgeable of the surrounding area and gave us plenty of great reccomendations. Rooms were good sized, comfortable beds. View from our lake view balcony was beautiful!!

No air conditioning, the fan provided was like one of the portable AC units and ended up just warming up the room more

Unforgettable

The location was fabulous amazing and the staff always meet you with a smile which made a great impression (warm welcome). This property is lucky with such a staff especially ms. Wild in the front desk and the one in the health club i forget his name all of them did a great job to give me and my family unforgettable memories.

Amazing location and views of on lake side accomodation

Amazing location on the lake , quiet accommodation . Pool and hot tub just superb ! Parking out the front a huge bonus . Gorgeous restaurant overlooking the Lake .

Constructive criticism: We Didn’t find a working air conditioner ( cooling ) within unit so I would be aware of this for Summer months ,, a fan was supplied which did help. Feather pillows great however no extra bedding supplied for more support. No phone in room to contact reception if needed. Fewer power points in room than we are used to .

Great hotel in a scenic location

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help us with all of our needs

The room was clean and tidy, but the third bed for the adult was a small, temporary opening up bed which meant that it was rather uncomfortable. Also, the facilities in the room were slightly lacking in that there wasn't a kettle and the coffee machine would not heat the water up for the coffee properly.

Everything excellent If you staying in Luzerne this hotel is must. Amazing breakfast, good enough room size, amazing lake side view, great pool, hot tub, sauna and steam bath. Loved our every day in hotel.

Everything was perfect but as its lakeside and lot of trees I guess lot of flying insects like mosquitoes can enter in room, also spiders are quick to form nets around balcony its better to close doors before evening Not sure if hotel management can do anything about that.

Nice large clean room. Coffee machine and tea facilities too. Beautiful lake side location. Even offered blankets during our evening meal to keep us warm.

Room got very hot at night. Luckily there was a fan (and umbrella!) in the wardrobe.
