Phenomenal Hotel. The Staff was really friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful, and our suite was very comfortable. All of the staff were smiling and gracious. Luca at the concierge was truly hospitable. He gave great recommendations and was always willing to help. Genuinely friendl and sincere. More concierges should give service like him. Lea at the reception was also quite friendly and welcoming. We appreciated her. This is a true gem of a hotel. Highly recommend.

Great hotel, was upgraded on our room. Room was fabulous, front desk & porters are great. Was disappointed at breakfast having coffee from coffee urn to have 3-4 Tablespoons of coffee grounds in my cup for last sip. Having been at other hotels recently it was a good breakfast but not an over the top. Some staff were great, some not so much. Great location

The only thing this hotel has going for it is great views. Service and facilities were dismal. My balcony had cigarette butts and matches all over the floor. I called and asked them to clean it when they cleaned my room. They cleaned up some but left others. I asked to talk to the manager and it finally got cleaned. The fitness room felt like an oven. It was so hot and stuffy, I didn’t even work out. The pool doesn’t look like the photos. It’s a small pool in a dark basement. When we checked in, we weren’t told anything. Had to even ask where the elevator was. And they didn’t tell me they were charging my credit card $900 for incidentals, instead of holding it like every other hotels does. It was credited after checkout but for anyone who pays interest on their card, or is reaching their credit limit, this could be a problem. Lastly, the taxi the concierge arranged to pick us up to go to the airport came 20 minutes late. The man on duty didn’t seem concerned; just said, “Oh you have time.” This Intercontinental Hotel acted like it was a 3 star hotel.

The hotel is very good overall. The only problem we had was the taxi reservations. We asked the concierge to reserve a taxi for us, once to go to the restaurant and the other time to go to the airport. Both times the taxi was late, especially the driver of the airport service didn't show up and we had to call for a new one. We almost missed the flight.

What an amazing experience! The hotel is gorgeous and in an ideal location for walking and exploring old town. Our room was lovely and perfectly equipped. Our balcony and its view was a showstopper! I could not have enjoyed it more. The service at the hotel was outstanding - from the personal greetings to the extreme helpfulness. Would stay here again in a heartbeat and will always recommend to anyone traveling in the area.

I am writing to formally address the issues we encountered during our stay at your hotel. We checked in on December 28, 2024, at 10:30 PM, far later than the standard check-in time of 3:00 PM. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that had a non-functioning HVAC system. We had specifically requested accommodations for four people; however, the room was not prepared to accommodate us. Additionally, the room emitted a strong, unpleasant odor, which seemed to originate from recent work on the HVAC system or similar maintenance. After waiting for over an hour, we were offered two smaller rooms. Our party consisted of two adults and two underage children (ages 11 and 12), and the change was far from ideal. Even with the new rooms, we were only provided one key per room, and the key had to be inserted into the energy control slot in order to activate the room's power. This entire experience was extremely frustrating, as it significantly disrupted our stay. To add to the inconvenience, the hotel management requested an additional fee the following day, citing the provision of smaller rooms as the reason for the charge. Given the many inconveniences and unsatisfactory conditions we experienced, I am requesting a full refund for our stay. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate the matter and pursue legal action. I look forward to your immediate response.

The view from breakfast is worth staying here. It is only a short walk down to the water and all of the charming restaurants. My mom and I stayed here and she loved it as well especially because she could smoke everywhere ha ha ha.
