Was greeted in elevator surrounded by hoodlums. Loud parties. This is not luxury at all. Felt unsafe.

The beds were comfortable and bedding and towels were crisp and clean. The space in the penthouse was amazing with enough beds and room for our whole family. The views were spectacular!!! Made the rental totally worth it. The furniture did have some questionable stains. There is a strong marijuana smell.

from the first day we checked in, the guy at the front counter was rude and not accommodating at all. we also had to pay additional money up front because of a system error that had nothing to do with us. The staff is not friendly and all, its like we were bothering them just being there. The pictures on the website are not accurate to the actual property, the property is unclean, inkept, stains all over the floors, cheap hard furniture. The gym was not a real gym and the conditions of the gym was horrendous! coming from America and visiting Cape Town for the second time, we are very disappointed. would not recommend this property to anyone. much better and cheaper options in the same area. Run Ps no one spending their hard earned money should be treated like this.

The property all in all was acceptable, but the apartment rules said that noise should be limited from 10pm onwards. By 03am I had to contact the reception to get the guests on the floor above us, to stop shouting and moving tables and chairs across the floor which made it impossible for us to sleep. I had to call twice before the noise stopped. This incident might have been an isolated event, but I feel cheated, as I paid to stay there, but I didn't receive value that I paid for. Pity. Hotels.com also advertised that there is a steam room and hot tub, but that is not the case.

The room is huge with a nice ocean view but it was not properly cleaned. I was surprised but the color of socks that were changed after walking around the room. The are a number of restaurants within walking distance. There was plenty of parking space. There was no heater in the room so we had to ask for a mobile heater. It uses gas to heat up. After a few hours, it went out and got cold again. The staffs were not very helpful.

Location was good we only slept overnigt , so we had a smooth late Checkin , staff where good. The corridors lifts etc where poorly cleaned , It was clear that the unit has not been well serviced , the tile grouting looked dirty and in some places the tiles where loose or the grouting was comming apart Unit needs a bit of TLC to bring it back to what is was.

The hotel staff could not control drunk and roudy patrons. Police was needed to evacuate 12 people from one room. It happened 2 consecutive nights. We had to leave 4 days prior to booked dates . We really felt unsafe . Disappointed and disgraced

This hotel did not disappoint. Our original room had a good view of Table Mountain but when we asked for a room with a better view, the front desk quickly accommodated us. This hotel was clean and conveniently had a kitchen. The rooms were a bit cold and did not warm up enough with its heaters though. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying at Cape Town.

We had a function close by and decided to stay over so we booked here.. from the time we entered I felt uncomfortable ! Bad reception, seedy characters all over, guy sleeping on the couch in reception, no porter, etc etc etc To me it seems like this place is a meeting place to peddle drugs and do deals by Nigerian and other foreign nationals as they dominate the place and there is even a warning on check on documents advising you against doing drug deals on the premises

We decided to stay hear as it is convenient to visit family who live up the west coast. The suites themselves are large by international standards, modern and clean. We had a 3 bedroom suite which was lovely although it did not have much of a view as it was on the 3rd floor. The staff are great are were always friendly. Check-in was easy although they do hold a R1000 deposit which was a worry and which is now understood after our stay. The HUGE issue with Aquarius is NOISE! Firstly, it's at a very busy intersection and double lane road which suffers from a lot of late night car and motorcycle racing and wheel spinning. We also were witness from our balcony to a motor cycle accident. I hope the guy does make it as it didn't look good. That is the good part of the noise issue! The real issue is the average guests they have. We had 4 nights of serious noise issues on neighboring suites at all hours of the morning and there was a constant flow of people in and out of the suites next door us. In fact, on one occasion, the next door balcony looked like a war zone the next morning. I am surprised that they only asked for R1000 deposit!!!! Security did however do a good job as stopping the noise. So while the suites are lovely and modern, the noise is completely unbearable (even for us who are NYC residents) which means Aquarius is a big miss!! Stay elsewhere.

The view at night was very lovely. The kitchen and sitting area were roomy but the bedroom was rather small. Liked the white decor theme but was too clinical. The hallways require more lighthing and an uplift - they were dark and sometimes dingy. Unfortunately there was smoking even when it was not allowed.
